Frank Lampard treble highlights NYCFC rout over Colorado

Suddenly the million-dollar man Frank Lampard is playing a one of a kind football and in this afternoon, all of a sudden we have to see the type of game displayed by the former Citizen striker. There was once a post that spoke about the former Chelsea and Man City striker since coming to play in MLS that mentioned about his game being a devaluated.

Not for Frank Lampard suddenly embarked on a scoring streak since June if I recall, with eight goals netted so far and looking like there is nothing stopping this chap anytime soon.

In today’s match the NYCFC did not had in its eleven the likes of striker David Villa that was not a problem for the English lad who really performed to his standards as well lead his squad to a shootout that Colorado will not forget for quite some time. As the scoring machine of Villa got a suspension, it was the maestro to come out alive and kicking with style.

A match considered like a preview of what can be this year’s Major League Soccer final between the Rapids and New York squad, as the Big Apple Boys had in its helm Viera’s Assistant who too was in the naughty list with a ban. It was one day where Chris Lattanzio the assistant who enjoyed it very much how his eleven and strategies were well placed and responded for today.

With a variety of improvisations and sending a 4-3-3 formation with Tony Taylor in substitution for Villa flanked by Mc Namara and Harrison in the attack- alongside of getting their midfield with Lampard, Pirlo and Iraola in the middle. The NYCFC was to play a very tough match and against a rival of all calibers and coming to Yankee Stadium with one of the best defenses in all of MLS, not counting keeper Howard taking care of the Coloradoans posts.

Still one-thing leads to another as the locals started with a certain dominance over the Rapids who did not showed off any opposition or danger to Saunders posts until the end of the match.

Since the first minute, the Sky Blues never stopped in their intent of displaying its desires of getting into the scoreboard, until the 28th when the Colorado defense failed to clear the ball from the area, when Gazi scored the lone goal in the 90th minute.
The NYCFC with Andoni Iraola getting the ball and creating a pass on the left, with Andrea Pirlo not touching the ball and creating a screen for Diego Martinez to send a volley that Lampard just pushed the ball for the 1-0.

The second goal came in the 42nd by Tony Taylor pushing the ball for the 2-0, going ahead in halftime, the NYCFC was not done and once gain started the delivering mayhem towards the Rapids backfield, that was playing with just 10 men. Then David Mendoza doing a nice individual play put the score at 3-0, setting up another play where Frank Lampard put the 4-0 and 5-0 via a PK.

With this win, the NYCFC record improves to 10-7-6 and in sole possession in first place with 36 points and next week to play at Avaya Stadium against San Jose on a Friday night match.

Despite the loss last week against NYRB in the Big Apple Derby, the American version of the Sky Blues who are looking good and heading to their first postseason if they continue displaying their one of a kind football.

As their next match the Boys of the NYCFC will have their complete eleven in the field, still playing at Avaya Stadium is somehow difficult for many squads and for the Big Apple Boys that will have their hands full against the Quakes.

Nothing is impossible if they have once again an inspired Frank Lampard and David Villa playing altogether and their all-around scoring streaks active, for now the New Yorker's have a great deal to make it happen and looking forward to a banner of a campaign.

Cathair Chorcaí ag súil go mór Preab ar ais ag Turners Field

Breathnaíonn sé cosúil nach raibh taobh Beilge Genk ar namhaid éasca do na Leesiders sa chéad cos ar an Sraith na Europa, agus nach bhféadfadh a thabhairt ar an oscailt ag comhardú an Cothromóir ais go dtí Cathair Chorcaí. Toisc go bhfuil gach trí cinn de na squads Airtricity League i bpoll ina compromises seach, beidh a n-bhuntáiste a na cluichí dara cos a bhí ag a stadiums sa bhaile.

Do John Caufield, an Boss Leesiders, a mhéid a bhfuil an deis iontach gléasta an scór nuair a imreoidh siad sa bhaile an dara cos tsraith seo le taobh Beilge Genk go mbeidh do cinnte iarracht a chuid is fearr a chur leis an scór a scuad. Tá sé anseo go mbeidh an Airm Rebel Boss iarracht a chuid is fearr a mount cosaint stingy agus a chur ar a chuid is fearr straitéisí chun teacht timpeall ar an scór sprioc aonair, a mhéid a bhfuil na buachaillí Bheilg ina bhuntáiste.

I bhfad ina n-aonar a chur ar feadh cúpla scór ar an mbord a bheidh, a bheith ann do Chathair stailceoirí phríomh misean a fheiceáil leanúint i Sraith na Europa agus a aisling de b'fhéidir a dhéanamh ar siúl don ghrúpa stáitse.

Rud amháin ar dtús mar Bhainisteoir Beidh John Caufield a ullmhú a chuid trúpaí chun tosaigh ar an chluiche agus leis an leas a bhaint réimse baile chomh maith leis an tacaíocht a leanúna a mheastar riachtanach agus spreagúil don feat go léir ar fud.

Fós is féidir na táblaí a cas ar na chaps na Cathrach, mar nach raibh ádh leo ag Crystal Arena, in ainneoin na deiseanna ar an sprioc na muintir na háite i réim agus a chothabháil a gcuid taifead foirfe sa bhaile, a léiríonn as a mettle mar chliant diana amháin ar chothabháil a stádas undefeated . Go han-mhaith a bhfuil multimillion uainchlár nach féidir leis an taobh Éireann mheaitseáil, an scór deiridh a mheas mar a tharraingt do na Leesiders.

Is iad na féidearthachtaí ar oscailt chun chaps Chathair má gcomhlíonfaidh siad an miracle ar Turners, mar an staid na hiomaíochta i Sraith na Europa tosóidh éirí i bhfad níos chonspóidtear agus le gach babhta agus mheaitseáil leis an ábhar díospóide beidh na chaps na Cathrach a bheith i do scrúdú mór.
Eile a bheith ar an foirmiú go mbeidh Caufield chur ar an réimse chomh maith a sheoladh lena backfield cosanta leis an dearcadh chosc a chur ar an ar cuairt KRC Genk gach ceann de na deiseanna scórála nó na poist a chosaint ag Mark Mc Nulty ag fáil cluaise.
Mar aon fheiceáil Triúr Leesider i Alan Bennett, Sean Mc Guire agus Michael McSweeney atá ar sprioc agus go léir ar fud spreag chun na spriocanna is gá a mharcáil a choinneáil ar an aisling na hEorpa beo agus kicking agus a fháil in aice leis an Talamh Tairngire do Chathair.

Ní dhéanfaidh aon ní atá scríofa nó cheana dearbhaíodh tháinig 4 Lúnasa beidh an gcomhréiteach Chathair Chorcaí a chríochnú agus séalaithe an déileáil, mar go bhfuil gach éacht a rinne an Leesideres duine amháin brabúsach chomh maith a dhéanamh ar stair sa chomórtas clúiteach.

Mar a léirigh an scéal an téip amach ar ionsaí beagnach fiú ag squads agus dhá shoot níos mó ar spriocanna ag an scuad baile Chathair, a chinneadh agus uaillmhian na cónaitheoirí Turners Cross féidir bhuachan go léir araon, ach ní mór dúinn fanacht go dtí lá cluiche.

Go dtí seo tá siad ar Tis céimeanna agus ag dul abhaile féidir beagán marfach don Arm Rebel chomh maith le haghaidh roinnt dá imreoirí stop a count bréan, beidh sé seo a bheith ina scéal David versus Goliath agus Cathair Chorcaí an Guy beag sa chás sin.

Cork City looking forward to bounce back at Turners Field

It looks like Belgian side Genk was not an easy foe for the Leesiders in the first leg of the Europa League and could not give the opening of netting the equalizer back to Cork City. As all three of the Airtricity League squads are in the hole in their respective compromises, their advantage will be the second leg matches played at their home stadiums.

For John Caufield, the Leesiders Boss, so far his squad has the excellent opportunity of mounting the score when they play at home the second leg of this series with Belgian side Genk that for sure will try its best to add to the score. It is here that the Rebel Army Boss will try his best to mount a stingy defense and put on his best of strategies to overcome the lone goal score, so far the Belgium Boys have in their advantage.

Much alone of putting on a couple of scores in the board, will be for City strikers main mission to see a continuance in the Europa League and its dreams of maybe making a run to the stage group.

One thing first as Manager John Caufield will have to prepare his troops ahead of this match and with the home field advantage along with the support of his followers considered vital and motivating for the all-around feat.

Still the tables can be turn on the City chaps, as luck was not with them at Crystal Arena, despite the opportunities at goal the locals prevailed and maintained their perfect record at home, showing off their mettle as one tough client an maintained their undefeated status.  Very well having a multi-million roster that the Ireland side cannot match, the final score considered as a draw for the Leesiders.

The possibilities are open for the City chaps if they perform the miracle at Turners, as the state of competition in the Europa League will start becoming much contested and with every round and match the disputed the City chaps will be in for a  major test.

Other will be the formation that Caufield will put on the field as well sending his defensive backfield with the attitude of denying the visiting KRC Genk all of the opportunities of scoring or getting ear the posts defended by Mark Mc Nulty.

Alongside of seeing a Leesider trio in Alan Bennett, Sean Mc Guire and Michael McSweeney are on target and all around inspired to mark the necessary goals to keep the European dream alive and kicking and get near the Promised Land for City.

Nothing is written or already declared come august 4th the compromise of Cork City will be of finishing and sealing the deal, as every achievement performed by the Leesideres is one profitable one as well making history in this prestigious competition.

As the tale of the tape showed off an almost even attack by both squads and two shoot more on goals by the home squad of City, determination and ambition of the Turners Cross residents can win it all, but we have to wait till game day.

So far they are on its stages and going home can a somewhat fatal for the Rebel Army as well for some of its players stop its foul count, this will be a tale of David versus Goliath and Cork City will be the little guy in this event.

The Toffees excited to a new chapter in Premiership

With a new man to turn things around at Goodison Park, the Toffees faithful are looking forward to an exciting and spectacular campaign. It looks like Ronnie Koeman the new man at the helm of the Blues will have his hands full, in assembling an all-around contender and implement a very dynamic and competitive game in this side of Merseyside.

Nothing that this squad in the past has demonstrated its might,  after being one of those small entities and one of those reputable giant killers, with Manu, Chelsea and Man City among some of its victims.

Still after losing some ground in last campaign and struggling to keep afloat, the Toffees prevailed and never allowed themselves to be in the hole or fight for their survival and permanency. The sorry state of its game displayed, was not the one a squad like this has presented to us in the past.

One thing this squad has is an excellent academy system that can provide for the big squad, also with an excellent way of recruiting good players and not accustomed to make big name signings in every campaign. Here Koeman with the experience already acquired in St. Mary’s, after being exposed to one of the best academies in Premiership.

Here will not have a problem assembling a top-notch squad as well making a good run in this and future editions of the English Premier League. The ideal goal is that none of its starters in John Stones, Romelu Lukaku, Phil Jagielka and Seamus Coleman will not leave and stick around to start the new Blue revolution.

With a good majority of its players from last campaign and the new players recently purchased no big names but with a promising future ahead of them, the arrival of Bassala Sambu- Coventry City, Chris Renshaw- Oldham Athletic and Maarten Skelenburg- Fulham.

Despite the Toffees not attracting any stellar names for now, but the club front office will be on the arduous task of getting the ideal players to reinforce and cover the areas in need by its manager needs. Although rumors and a possible move of Manu Juan Mata coming to Goodison Park to reinforce this squad with a leader of this operates caliber.

A year of rebuilding and improving in many critical areas of this club, among one of them the arrival of Steve Welsh as their new director of football operations, known as the brains behind the miracle of Lancashire. This chap comes with a very impressive recruiting recorded that earned his former employer the Leicester City Foxes their first ever championship.

With back-to-back moves now this club will be moving forward in what so far are in a very busy preseason so far showing off good results and competing in the Dressden Cup and later close with Manu and Espanyol to get ready for the regular campaign.

Everton starts its campaign at home against a hardened and top rated Tottenham and later going as visitors to the Hawthorns to play West Brom Albion and return home to close their August stand at home against a rising Stoke City Potters.

The aims of Everton under their new Bosses will be of making a good run and overcome their foes in the Merseyside Derbies with Liverpool, Manu and Man City, very well finish what they started in Cup play after losing against Dynamo Kiev in 2015 Europa League and2016 FA Semifinals.

Now the goals for Everton and Manager Ronnie Koeman are to deliver shields to the halls of Goodison Park and deliver quality and one of a kind football for its followers and insurmountable fan base worldwide.

Call it a new era or episode, but keep one thing in mind is that this club top brass is hungry to see an all-around contender and winner in its Toffees and very well start seeing an all-around winner and a serious contestant at the end.
