Manchester City rules in this Derby

Manchester City 3, Manchester United 1
Etihad Stadium, Manchester

Red versus Blue in the always-celebrated Manchester Derby that lately has been painted Sky Blue, and today it was not difference the dominance put on by Pep Guardiola and company.

In a match played totally in a sold out Etihad, the attendees were for a delight of an afternoon were these made a repass of a clueless and at times off guard Red Devil defensive game being outclassed by a spirited City.

As this squad dominating from start to finish despite the moves put on Mourinho to try at least starting something raucous and in the end seeing his efforts in disbelief by a squad filled with momentum from the beginning.

The total domination out on a squad that has become somehow a mighty one in Premiership ever since the arrival of the man from Cataluña the magic and wisdom the man considered a sort of Midas has put his touch in what seems to be an invincible club.

Suddenly this club spectacular ways are elevating it into one day a powerful one in all of Europe but until that the competition put on their cross region foes Liverpool has made them elevate their game for the better.

Pep Guardiola has promised nothing special as many await a shield from one of the world’s most notable of competitions in the always-coveted long eared trophy that is awarded to the best club achievements in this competition and denied in the past.

As once, he stated in the course of this campaign that this club is not ready for such an international feat as he of its lack of readiness states its readiness for such a prize.

Anyway, let us get back to today’s match in what is the most celebrated of Derbies or contests in all of Premiership when these cross town rivals stage their epic and disputed of matches in the course of this campaign.

Still one thing we saw in this KO to be a one-side affair that belonged in its entirety to the locals and with the push from its followers, these in the end celebrated loudly their always-valuable bragging rights and lately their dominance.

However, the way these Citizens are putting on the field is a genuine game of football and with a dynamic and filled with technique match, these came ahead in what seemed to be a very deflated and lack of inspiration United.

With the first goal of the match when David Silva put the score in favor of City in the  12’ minute when a series of touches from Raheem Sterling to Bernardo Silva passing to the Spaniards that resolve without any hesitations for the first goal.

Taking by surprise a Manu defensive backfield that looked much dominated in the course of the match a counter that got the visitors off guard when Riyad Mahrez passed to an open Sergio Aguero to put the game away.

With a shoot sent by the Argentinian in the 48’ minute out of reach of David De Gea hands and sending the whole of Etihad into a madhouse for the way, their Boys were pacing the way to another easy victory over a decimated Manchester United.

Not ten minutes passed by when United Boss sent a move for Jesse Lingard for Romelu Lukaku that his move paid off when the Belgian striker got a foul inside the area by City’s goalkeeper Ederson and Untied close in the score in the 58’.

In the end Man City determination prevailed and overcome the United defense to see Ilkay Gundohan put in the cushion or go ahead goal and match out for each from the visitors for a resounding win.
