Is the Revolution Serious about Finally Winning the Shield?



The possibilities abound in the camp of the always-hardened New England Revolution and their hopes deposited in their man at the helm Jay Heaps. 

With another campaign and the prospects of burying the dreadful past after playing five times unsuccessfully in the league finals and coming short of the big one.

This year the Revolution fans can see the ultimate of miracles of getting not only into the league postseason but also into advancing to its final and winning the always-elusive MLS Cup.

With a squad as always by showing, a winning and fighting spirit of never backing down, the 2016 New England Revolution has made a statement of playing one excellent football.

Very well, elevating their name so high in all of the confines of Major League Soccer, with an impacting campaign that can generate lots of enthusiasm to loyal and dedicated fan base looking to see its Boys win it all.

Still work has to be done and with new people in their rosters in former Caps Midfielder in Gershon  Koffie, FC Sion Xavier Kouassi and Sporting Club Portugal in Defender Sambinha on loan basis.

Accompanied by the new draft prospects in Jordan Mc Creary, Michael Gamble and Femi Hollinger- Janzen, Manager Heaps has deposited his trust and confidence ahead of these chaps to earn a regular spot in the big club.

After all the outlook looks very bright and with last campaign roster returning to the Revolution ranks, this campaign is indeed filled with lots of positives and awesome expectations.

For the Revolution front office top man Michael Burns his work not done ahead of opening day nearing on all of MLS fronts, very well covering the holes in the roster and to continue the winning ways that has characterized this club since its inception.

Considered as the pioneer and original of clubs from Major League Soccer start in 1996, the New England Revolution has always been in the league spotlight and among the top notch of contenders.

Once again, this club is among the favorites to be once again in the league grand fete of the postseason and maybe with lots pf prospects of finally exorcising those demons of cup denial once in for all.

The road for the Promised Land is paved with many obstacles and among one of the things its boss will be looking for is for his club to be healthy and take advantage of all the opportunities their rivals gives them.

At the end, the Revs will indeed put on a spectacular show in the field and once more deliver many satisfactions to their all-around legion of supporters hungry for that trophy, known for its denial time after time.

This is the year that anything can happen and many odd being in favor of this club and the current state of their players hungry once gain to compete for the ultimate of possibilities of MLS glories and finally deliver.
