A draw with the twist of a win for the Clarets

Not so fast Chelsea Boys as the Turf Moor bunch really likes to play the role of spoilers and today they gave their faithful one of those amazing and one of a kind of afternoons.

Despite seeing a draw that had all the essence of a win and creating an upset in the works for the league leaders, seeing their opportunity to add points at the end the visiting Londoners saw their efforts in vain.

Very well, surrendering three points that could gave them a solid twelve-point lead in the overall table and at the end the boots of an opportune and heroic Robbie Brady who delivered a fatal blow to the visitors.

Felling the pain at the end was the Pensioners Boss Antonio Conte who saw his plans going down the tubes and now it is back to the drawing board, plan ahead of not being so trustworthy, and laid back to whomever they play with.

For Sean Dyche seeing his efforts crowned with a point of gold and with his promise of keeping his squad put in Premiership for another campaign it is one of his main objectives and aims to make a tough stand.

As well see his squad see the lights of another day in the ranks of the big circuit of Premiership, as you recall two campaigns ago the Clarets went down in what seemed a very confused and out of focus campaign.

Now the tables are turn in favor of this so called small entity with the heart and ambition of a giant and looking forward in next campaign to make a stand and impact in the overall table.

Still today’s match filled with pure heroics and determination from the local Boys of Turf Moor, shown throughout the whole ninety minutes of a match considered much fought off from the beginning.

After the Clarets netting a valuable point and so far earning seven of fifteen in play, for their Boss Sean Dyche every match played and seen as a sudden death ones and the need of adding points is one of its main aims.

As Manager Dyche know that this campaign after their successful promotion to the big league was not going to be a walk in the park and not every point in play handed to him and his squad in a golden tray.

Despite the London Town Boys, early score via Chelsea’s Pedro in the seventh minute was going to be the lone goal for the London Boys, but at the end in the 24th minute when newcomer Robbie Brady came in the clutch.

A match considered a win for the Burnley chaps and keeping pace with both Watford and Southampton as the Hornets loss to United and the Saints win over Sunderland made it interesting in the middle of the table.

The opportunity arises for the clarets when they go to Vicarage Park and visit a decimated and hopeless Hull City that can play the role of spoiler as an underdog after the Burnley bunch plays an away match and these are not their strongest points.

At the end, the work of Sean Dyche tells it all and today he and his Chaps did not became intimidated or dominated by the league leader in the whole ninety minutes of this match, these playing an extraordinary football.

As they, say there is no such thing than an easy foe and Burnley proved to be that foe that did not allowed the visiting Chelsea Blues any liberties to display their one of a kind and dominating game all afternoon long.

This time the little guys did the feat and almost got the win after various attempts were saved by a well-timed  Chelsea keeper, who stop several shoots almost considered as goal, the amazing Clarets.
