Major League Soccer 2017 Campaign- The NYCFC serious for the top

One of a kind is the exact words to award a squad that demonstrated with their hard work and determination, that lead them to their first ever trip to the league postseason.

An amazing one indeed, but for second year Boss of the American version of the Sky Blues, who was so close to the  Eastern Conference semifinals, but lost to a resilient Toronto FC.

That was then and now the futures for this squad to have a continuance on displaying their spectacular football, something to see and follow very closely in this upcoming campaign.

After last campaign, the Big Apple Boys of the Bronx displayed an initla eleven filled with several luminaries of the game, this campaign the retirement of Frank Lampard, Andoni Iraola, Medhi Ballouchy and Fede Bravo.

Leaves a big hole in the Sky Blues midfield, the NYCFC top think tanks went into the task of searching for new talent capable of sustaining the pressure of MLS competition considered by many as one challenging one.

It is why the club in the preseason is bolstering its eleven in order to make it into an all-around competitor and deliver another encore of last campaigns success by netting new players from abroad as well local leagues.

Still the prospects of this club making another remarkable run into the league postseason is something assured by the new faces coming to the colossus of the Bronx, Yankee Stadium.

Per orders of Manager Viera, the NYCFC is very serious on their quest of developing young talents through their academies and making alliances with USL squads of the likes of the San Antonio FC, youth is what this club is betting on its future.

With new players coming from various leagues of the lies recently of Argentinian Maxi Moralez, Sean Johnson, John Stentzer, Rodney Wallace, Yangel Herrera, Alexander Callens, Miguel Camargo, Sean Okoli and Alexander Ring.

As well a very successful draft were the Bronx Boys selected five players and three are now in the final 23 in Kwame Awuah, Jalen Brown and Chris Wingate currently getting a vote of confidence by Manager Viera.

The combination of experience and the majority of its roster returning, the American Sky Blues are up and ready to front all sorts of challenges and possibly, I will not be surprised to see them finish atop their conference.

However, in football, we need a certain chemistry of unity in the field and play like a team throughout the whole ninety minutes of every match and the brethren among them will be the recipe for this club repeated success.

So far, with a busy preseason at Tucson and a trip to Ecuador to face the nation’s league powerhouse Emelec FC, the New Yorkers are looking ready for a contested and disputed campaign in the works this 2017 in MLS.

With many current players and new ones in the NYCFC, the competition internally and evidently seen and from its current talisman players David Villa, Andrea Pirlo and Tommy Mc Namara, still they welcome this contest for the best of the club.

At the end, the NYCFC will be among the favorites in the Eastern Conference to repeat a trip to the grand fete of the postseason as well, if anything goes as expected this club can make a jump to the semifinals and maybe net its pass.

Nothing is written, so far, the outlook of this group looks amazing and very solid to perform a one of a kind campaign in this edition of Major League Soccer, I don’t doubt a first place finish in the east and a trip to the final.
