The Gypsies all around Derby satisfaction

Things are looking good in Phibsborough as well for Keith Long the Gypsies Boss doing his best to deliver notable and important results in their quest of a magnificent campaign finish.

After a long break for several clubs in the Airtricity League of Ireland, for several of its squads involved in the knockout rounds in the Europa and Champions League, this weekend everything got back to normal.

With several matches, scheduled, one got the overall attention and it was the Dublin Derby between archrivals Shamrock Rovers and the Bohemians FC, playing in Tallaght and with certain dominance by the Hoops.

Very well, the local Rovers before this match labeled as the overall favorites and winners over the league defending champions the Dundalk Lilywhites, all the odds favored the Tallagh squad.

However, Stephen Bradley the Hoops Boss did not hesitated how its guests were to display a one of a kind series of performances in the pitch and deliver the unthinkable of a scandalous win.

If I meant notable, it was a night for Long and company to endure after a series of changes made by the Bohs manager to see if his Boys deliver.

At the end, they persevere!

So far for Keith Long, the Bohs manager aims is to move up in the overall table, as one of his most notable phases was to keep his squad away from the relegation spots, now the focus is to end  among the top three in the end.

For the Bohs Nigerian connection in Ishmail Akinade and Fuad Sule, these two contributed to their squad win over the Hoops and breaking a certain dominance exercised by the Tallaght Boys over them.

Despite the Shamrock Rovers side missing a couple of players in Roberto Lopes and Captain Ronan Finn, the local Hoops did miss their players considered important for this squad in their to contend for the top three spots.

Still the night belonged to the visiting Dalymont squad, with a nice play as it rehearsed as an astute Dinny Corcoran performed a nice back heel pass and Ishmail Akinade did the rest with a push for the opening score that left many in awe in the Hoops side.

With just 27 minutes in the clock the visitors were on top of the scoreboard but the lead suddenly went away for the Bohs when the locals via David McAlister in the 30th  to tie the match at one goal apiece going to halftime.

Despite the locals efforts in the field and coming near the posts defended by Shane Supple, as Keith Long seeing a positive effect in his moves and changes in his initial eleven.

When an inspired Dinny Corcoran delivered in the clutch and score what became the game winner in the 55-minute and his nine goal of the campaign.

After that, both squads’ managers started doing a series of moves to see if the match had a turnaround for the best for either Bohs or Hoops, the locals needed at least a goal to rescue a point with a draw.

Nevertheless, at the end the visitor’s backfield persevere and deliver a valuable win and on top breaking their cross-town foes hegemony in the Dublin Derby.
