To Build a Contender in Rose City, Lots of Patience is Necessary

For the Portland Timbers Boss, Caleb Porter is business as usual, very well in his goals of shaping his club to be a contender in this and many campaigns’ to come.

The chap is doing an awesome job, still he’s not a sort of Merlin or wizard to make things happen all at once- as well see his squad win as many of its followers want.

Football is a serious business and starts in the dugout and its players involved, a project that’s determined to give many satisfaction’s to its followers- can take its time.

Very well patience will be a virtue to see in the end, those much desired results, resulting in the delivery of shields to Providence Park halls, in the case of the Portland Timbers- their future is looking a bit bright. As some of its top guns are making a recovery slowly, among one of them in Diego Chara making his awaited debut this campaign against the Galaxy.

Imagine if we had Diego Valeri and Will Johnson in the lineup performing with Dairon Aspirilla, Michael Nanchoff now in the Disable List and George Fochive in the midfield- giving a certain deep to this squad attack.

The need of sealing the deal is very imminent and hopefully this problem can be solved not at once but immediately, as the next matches for the Timbers at home will be crucial for the remaining of their campaign.

As many squads will come in very determined to get the upper hand of those hardened Timbers and cause an upset at home for the Boys in Green, especially coming from its Cascadia foes.

Many new faces are in the Roster and really are looking somehow determined to keep a position in the club as well the T2 squad that one day can contribute to this club future, making the Timbers front office, not to look somewhere else for talent, but in its academy.

Patience is the virtue in every aspect of life, especially in the makings of a contender and seeing a top notch squad in the field, with three draws and one hard loss, that this Boss couldn’t get any answers after being so dominant in in their last Vancouver match.

A squad like the Portland Timbers, don’t really need to be in the urge of getting a top rated superstar, that one thing will inflate the Rose City payrolls, in order to deliver shields, Manager Porter will do as hired- forge a winner in this and many campaigns to come.

Still as many critics and detractors of these squads are very abundant, still Rose City had one serious and dedicated fan base that never lets its support down for their squad and at the end the Manager name is Caleb Porter and he knows whats is mission.

No one but him, who has the solutions and the patience, persistence and perseverance that will turn things around for this Cascadia Club and at any time can surprise the living daylights of many of its league foes, I know they can do it.

Especially with this squad, new and returning players, that soon these chaps find their good game and side to deliver it, results will be delivered positively to Providence Park with a possible treble of a campaign.

This campaign the Portland Timbers can deliver some shields and many satisfactions to its followers in this and many campaigns to come, remember with patience contenders are built, that’s the essence of erecting a fine squad. In Rose City many can say, in Caleb we Believe and Trust!
