Serbia a bumpy test for the Republic of Ireland

For the Republic of Ireland Boss Martin O’ Neill, the prospects of a draw is considered something dreadful as their turn to shine has come and facing one of its tough and hardened opponents in Group D to be as an all-around challenge.

With a competed field in their group of play, the Boys in Green will have their hands full with Georgia, Austria, Wales, Moldova and Serbia.

Being Serbia on of its toughest of tests and opening match in the qualifiers.

It will not come easy for the Green Army if their intentions are to net a direct ticket to the elimination rounds scheduled in November 2017 and once again play in another international event, considered this the world’s utmost event of football.

Going to Belgrade and face their first test it won’t come easy against an initial eleven dispersed throughout all of Europe most important leagues- alongside it’s not so easy to deal crowds known for their unwelcoming of receptions.

Still the show must go on and for the Boys in Green, it is necessary if they want to play their one of a kind game as the one they performed and netted them their EURO qualification, and this being their main goal of repeating the feat and book their ticket to Russia 2018.

The prospects of making the feat can be a bit difficult but not impossible, as the Republic of Ireland making history in the EURO qualifiers defeating Germany and in the tournament doing the ultimate with Italy, not bad for the Boys of Eire.

Those defeats became a shoot of optimism for the Green Army that at the end despite circumstances and oddities of not getting their direct passes, but one thing they earned their right to dispute it via an special playoff where the O’ Neill Boys did it with style beating a hardened Bosnia Herzegovina.

As in EURO the Republic of Ireland did a good performance after their first match draw against Sweden then a horrible loss to Belgium and a notable win over Italy  to advance into quarterfinals and barely lose to the hosts France.

Now in the WC 2018 qualifiers, the Emerald Isle squad will have its hands full with a Serbian National squad, Austria and Wales being these the all-time favorites to make the ultimate of miracles and net its pass with their one of a kind football displayed lately.

As many see the likes of Moldova and Georgia as an easy deal, still the prospects of delivering three easy points considered too risky as many state that there is no thing than an easy foe, for Ireland Boss Martin O’ Neill he will be very cautious.

Especially when they play their cross the channel foes in Wales showing off a much renewed and top of the line game, these may become favorites to win their group.

For the Republic of Ireland, their prospects and all around challenges for Manager Martin O’ Neill once again will be in an arduous test of will and endurance in their upcoming matches with Serbia as their first test away and returning to Dublin and face Georgia.

The Green Army will have its hands full and with Serbia will be a one of a kind and tough foe to play as this squad is one complete heavyweight adversary- player per player.

At the end, anything is possible and for the Boys in Green, opportunity can arise with a display of a good game filled with lots of ambition and consistency that can deliver the ultimate of feats in playing into the grand fete of the world Cup.

Something not seen since the time of that legendary English Manager Jack Charlton who took the Republic of Ireland to two World Cups and one Euro, maybe O’ Neill can do the same with this squad.

For starters, the first test will be the Serbian Eagles to play at Rajko Mitci Stadium at Belgrade, being this is the first test for the Republic Of Ireland in the qualifiers, and try to make a stand to Slavijub Islan squad being a tough test.
