Chicago’s Aims for One Serious Redemption

The Windy City squad is up and ready to take arms in this edition of Major League Soccer, entering on its twentieth edition and seeking to erase last campaign not so memorable performance.

With their man at the helm Frank Yallop, entering its second year- the Fire would like to honor its name and make a red hot appearance and played like they are really on fire as well aspire to the league shield.

For the Chicago Fire Boss, considered one of the most successful in MLS circles, during his tenure with the San Jose Clash were he won a couple of league cups and one Supporters Shield.

This campaign won’t be an exception as well contested for the Chicago Boys as their Eastern Conference seeding will be one of the most challenging and disputed with two newcomers and its new format.

Very well try to get a postseason position when there are only six spots to be disputed during the course of this upcoming so called challenged 2015 edition.

As many recalled the first years of league play, when the Chicago Fire came as an expansion squad- winning the MLS Cup and the US Open Cup back in 1998, an overall achievement and first for an expansion team.

That’s why the front office for the Men in Red is working arduously to assemble a contender and a force not to reckon with, in this upcoming edition of MLS this 2015.

The arrival of Scottish international and former Celtic and Latic Shaun Maloney, Swedish side Helsingborg Reds David Accam, HJK Helsinki Joevin Jones, Brazilians from Bahia Adailton Dos Santos and Southampton Guly Do Prado, Columbus Crew Eric Gehrig and from AIK Sweden Kennedy Igboananike.

Wow is the word for this club wheeling and dealing to reinforce its backfield, midfield and front as well the return of the majority of its last campaign squad and really make an all-around impact in league circles.

As well try to post a better record after a disappointing 2014 were this club didn’t offer much in its game and lacked a spark as well showing off a very mediocre performance as well tying in majority of its matches.

So far the Men in Red are preparing for their league compromises in England and so far in both exhibition matches against Championship side Norwich City for 0-0 score and defeating with style and blank Premiership tier QPR for a 1-0 score.

That makes the Fire look good so far and with an upcoming tournament in Portland Oregon with the Portland Timbers, Vancouver Whitecaps and Norwegian side Stabæk Football to dispute the Rose City Trophy.

Still the Chicago Fire and its Boss Frank Yallop see a very clear picture of what’s coming ahead as well redeemed himself at the helm of the Windy City club and return to Toyota Park those lost and always welcomed shields.

while many see in this squad as a year of redemption for the Chicago Fire- and very well make an overall statement with a nice game fill with spectacular and amazement in its plays.
