The Portland Timbers Looking Like an Armada this 2015



A couple of points are what separated the Portland Timbers from reaching the promised land of the league postseason and surrendering it to its Cascadia rivals, last campaign. 

With many having high expectations for this club as well many at Rose City expected a repeat of their astounding squad 2013 performance- that saw a brilliant revival of its Timbers!

2014 was campaign that exposed many of these club weak points and after a not so promising start; it’s when Manager Caleb Porter once again worked his magic and turned this club around at the end.

That was then and now it’s time to focus in the many new challenges that this campaign will bring to the Rose City squad, looking to soar into new heights and make an all-around statement in league play.

As every campaign will bring a new series of challenges to Major League Soccer and its squads, this 2015 edition will see the debut of two new squads and although they aren’t situated in the Timbers conference- the contest will be there.

Portland will be situated in a new and reorganized Western Conference, which changed its postseason format to six spots and two new tenants in the always competitive and hardened Sporting Kansas City and Houston Dynamo.
 
Were the Portland Timbers will see its foes in: Real Salt Lake, LA Galaxy, Cascadia rivals in the Seattle Sounders and Vancouver Whitecaps alongside the San Jose Quakes, Colorado Rapids and those always dangerous Dallas FC.

It’s when Manager Caleb Porter will use his resources to surpass its squad rival’s and make contenders of his Timbers looking to net some shields to Providence Park halls as well add more honor’s to his count.

New Timbers will be making their debut this campaign at Providence Park, where the squad top brass wheeling and dealing brought three new faces to make this squad into a top notch competitor.

On the arrival of Colombian forward Dairon Aspirilla, Brazilian midfielder Jeanderson Pereira, Goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey and Real Salt Lake defender Nat Borchers.

Not only scoring in these players brought from Europe and South America, the Timbers future looks very promising with players of the likes of Michael Nanchoff, Taylor Peay, Schillo Tshuma and draftees Nick Besler, Seth Casiple, Anthony Manning, Andy Toma and Christian Volesky.

Reinforcing every position in its initial eleven, the Timbers are looking forward to make an impact in this upcoming edition of Major League Soccer with style and resounding authority.
Those Portland Timbers and its Boss sees a bright future ahead for his squad and these chaps with a lot of desire to triumph and make a splash in league circles alongside assure themselves a spot with the big squad.

Hail Portland Timbers, your amazing fans will salute you in your Timbers Green Amy and not only them but the whole fan base of Rose City that has earned a top spot in all theaters of Major League Soccer for their spirited support!

Something that these squad will take in their favor while playing at home and away with an absolute determination and ambition to make a lot of noise in this 2015 edition of Major League Soccer, with dedication and plenty of class.
