The Potters Premiership Perseverance and Showmanship

This is it! Is what Stoke City Manager Mark Hughes has in mind, with a squad determined to make an all-around statement in every venue of Premiership.

And it certainly is making an impact as a visiting entity; ask that to London’s White Hart Lane prodigal sons, being defeated in a very convincing manner.

It was an all-around feat for the Potters that are in need to add points to its cause and with the squad that its front office assembled for this edition of Premiership.

So far are executing a game plan that its mentor in charge and boss is netting very positive results that this club has placed in ninth place in the overall table with 15 points.

Not bad for a club that no one bet for its survival and performances throughout the campaign of Premiership.  

Beating a squad of the likes of Tottenham Spurs isn’t your everyday act, especially as a visitor and with a skipper so determined to lift this squad among the tops.

Stoke City did it and putting in ridicule the program and strategies that its Manager Mauricio Pochetino is trying in vain to implement.

I mean putting the Lilywhites Argentinian skipper in a spot, after experimenting with a different lineup and leaving its multimillion starters on the bench as simple spectators.

Something that skipper Mark Hughes and the Potter boys really took advantage of and implemented their rule in the field.

Demonstrating that after getting some players not so spectacular, still their role of those in the squad is considered as a prime one and leaving no doubt, that this club is for real!

Can they aspire for some shields; maybe if these chaps keep this winning mentality, suddenly they may be among the top 5 squad’s fighting for a European spot.

Seeing a will of steel and a determination of a lion in the hunt, the Stoke City boys are looking to mend themselves with its fan base and delivering a lot of satisfactions one match at a time.

Nothing to lose but a lot to gain is what the mentality at Britannia Stadium and its residents resolute to make this edition of Premiership an overall challenge well fighting for and delivering and surprising everyone in the confines of the EPL.

Attitude is what this club suddenly is building and it has demonstrated in every match played and this victory was an injection of optimism, ahead of their upcoming compromises that include the likes of Burnley, Manu, Chelsea and Liverpool.

Those High Flying Swansea Gang

Hail for the residents of Liberty Stadium, after putting a display of determination and mastery over a top gun of Premiership this weekend.

For the lads of Swansea City it looks they can play on a one to one basis to anyone in the EPL, regardless of its ranks and whatever initial eleven put on the field.

I mean a great performance from Garry Monk’s boys, on a match that they displayed with a lot of spirit and determination- to defeat a resilient Arsenal squad.

That isn’t your everyday feat, for the squad of the likes of the Swans in an afternoon filled with a lot of great technique and resolution- to give the final blow to the visiting Londoners.

I do praise the Jacks front office, after their moves in the transfer market, netting good players and without breaking their bank, very well giving an opportunity to their young talents.

And although during the transfer market something good can happen to any squad and considered as a double sword edge, in the case of the Swans that wasn’t the issue.

As the results are being displayed on the field and the overall table were they seat on fifth place with eighteen points and just percentage points behind fourth place West Ham.

Still the residents’ of Wales know about the campaign is not over yet-but they are savoring every moment of glory their squad gives them in the field.

A very different campaign indeed, with last campaign that almost netted the Swans a trip to the infamous relegation positions, suddenly they did the ultimate to salvage their spot in Premiership.

Those fighting Jacks are showing a new personality and grit to resolve their matches, this campaign was to a grand start, being on first and upsetting some well-known squads.

Time will be crucial for the Clwb Pêl-droed Dinas Abertawe or Swansea Swans to continue its quest of excellence in the English Premeir League, that so far is giving us many surprises as well this Welsh club that can really go for more.

For now the Swans are making an all around statement in all of Premiership circles as well getting a lot of that lost respect back into this entity, hopefully they stand their ground!

At the end, for the Swansea City Association Football Club, by playing one impressive football is thanks to its boss Garry Monk strategies and well planned agenda infused into this club initial eleven.

Hail to the Flamboyant FAI FORD Cup Winners

Those awesome chaps from Saint Patrick Athletic Football Club are one proud entity after finally netting the elusive one.

I mean the one and only FAI Ford Cup that always been a sort of a fading memory, now is an accomplishment for the Pats.

By beating one of their fiercest foes in the Candy stripes of Derry City, who always had been the obstacle one way or another of getting this trophy to its halls at Richmond Park.

The boys of the Cumann Peile Lúthchleas Phádraig Naofa put a nice performance at Aviva Stadium putting all of the strategies of Manager Liam Buckley in a positive.

With a nice performance of an inspired initial eleven in the field, seeing a double from its hero in Christy Fagan, were A contributor for the Pats cause.

Liam Buckley is one happy skipper, seeing his side mount all sorts of achievements since his arrival at Inchicore, Dublin.

With last campaign that witnessing his side winning the SSE- Airtiricty in 2013 and seeing their hopes dwindle with the Dundalk Lilywhites taking it all.

The Saints never gave up on their desire to continue in their quest of getting more shields to Richmond and this 2014 the FAI Ford and Presidents Cups were among their additions.

 

This win already assured the Pats a spot in next edition of 2015-16 of UEFA Champions League and contributed to their cross town rival’s the Shamrock Rovers to be invited to this tourney.

With a commanding performance in UEFA elimination rounds, the last edition was seeing a sort of fairy tale in the Saints- after eliminating Islandic side Íþróttabandalag Vestmannaeyja and Croatian Nogometni Klub Široki Brijeg.

Until their demise came in the third round with their elimination from German side Hannover 96, still the club continued its push to its league top positions.

Finishing a strong third place in the overall table with 65 points and nine behind first place, that could it given the St. Pats back to back league titles.

For now it’s time for the Super Saints to celebrate in unison their double in this edition of the SSE- Airtricity League and hail for the extra efforts in the field to achieve such glories and feats.

As this club motto has been throughout the years Ní neart go cur le chéile and indeed it translates to “No Strength without Unity”, Congratulation’s Saint Patricks Athletic!

The Toon Sudden Emergence for Pardew’s Sake!

As many say, when the storm is over calm will reign, that’s the case for the Tyne Daly boys of Newcastle United.

All of a sudden the Geordies are becoming embroiled in a winning streak that lifted this club from the infamous relegation positions to an overall contender.

Indeed, that’s what the man at the helm is doing it, very silently and besides the outcry of many at Saint James in the beginning of the campaign, this man turned deaf and hence the results.

Patience has its rewards and for Alan Pardew his persistence is starting to pay off and making the loyal at the Toon into believers.

Four matches won with a convincing fashion, including one that silenced the reigning last edition champions of Premiership in the Manchester City Citizens that took a nosedive in the celebrated Capitol One Cup.

An initial eleven that’s making wonders in the field and placing the Geordies in eleventh place with thirteen points of gold and one point behind the Reds of Liverpool.

Being the Anfield squad one its latest list of victims, which ignited this club sudden run into a successful run that for now many hope it won’t end abruptly!

Still the joy of winning isn’t something to lament but celebrate in unison with the whole Tyne Daly, after seeing a project finally in its working stages.

With the progress seen in the field and finally the newly incorporated players bought in the summer transfer, all of a sudden the Magpies machine is making a push into the league top spots.

The road is filled with a lot of obstacles and many challenges ahead, although some of the clubs in their schedule before the closing of the mid-season comes, Newcastle United cam make an impression of a fighter of a club and a determined one.

for now good spirits are enlightening the halls of Saint James and its followers, that never thought of their club sudden revival, when it matter the most during the course of this campaign.

A contested one, indeed, as Tyne Daly is gearing up for more thrills to come and give its faithful, Premiership is looking like one hot ticket in all its fronts. 

Very well for its current Manager Alan Pardew feeling a certain sense of forgiveness as well relief by seeing his chaps making things happen at the Toon.

It’s the reason the top brass at Saint James gave its Manager an extended contract and I do credit for their resistance of not making  any moves that would it derail a project already in the works, now await for the results that are still to come.
