A Resilient Crystal Palace Achievement

The race for the no descent in this edition of the English Premier League is becoming a sort of competitive, very well a war of nerves between several of these squads.

It’s no surprise for many of us, seeing a very competitive race for the title and for the no descent between some of these squads, including the Crystal Palace lads.

As suddenly they were in the always dangerous and repulsive last three positions, with these lads really putting on a heroic fight for their salvation.

With 31 points in the overall table and in sixteenth place over the Hawthorns of Cardiff City who are holding the last of the relegation position with 26 points, five points really gives this squad some breathing room.

For Manager Tony Pulis and this West London squad, their show of force and intelligence against a rival that’s feared for its physical and astute game, that at the end this high soaring Eagles really put on a contest.

Not only that, but getting a resounding victory worth of salvation as well giving them bragging rights in the league over this past weekend.

After all the Eagles really didn’t break a sweat in scoring the winning goal, after the visiting Blues really did the feat of doing it on its own!

Still a win is a win as well lifting the Crystal Palace squad spirits into their next compromise, which really looks difficult but not impossible to beat a desperate Hawthorn squad looking for a win to get them a chance to move out of the relegation zone.

Just five points the Eagles have gained out of eighteen in play; still their enthusiasm for salvation is contagious and motivating going into Cardiff City, in match that’s worth following because of its importance for both squads.

No salvation yet for the Eagles and its Manager Tony Pulis, six matches left in the remainder of the season are the only impediment for this club salvation as well matches against Liverpool, Man City and Everton.

Making it an all-around challenge for its Manager Tony Pulis to perform some kind of magic, so his club can make it into another campaign in Premiership and stay away from the danger zone, for now their victory over a clueless and unmotivated Chelsea squad is worth celebrating as well applauding, well done Crystal Palace!

Believe in Caleb!

It’s the nature of football, soccer fans, when you’re beloved squad show’s sign of struggles at the start of a new campaign.
Even the most premier squad, has its downs and a state of a total disarray, after being a total dominator of the league and past campaign stellar season.
In this case for Manager Caleb Porter couldn’t be so concern for his Timbers Bhoys, after three matches played they only have earned a couple of points.
After seeing some flaws in its defensive side along a nonexistent frontal attack are lacking some aggressiveness, ambition and more team playing among its two Argentine attackers’, were only one really does his job and the other one is out of the picture.
Really, as mister Urrutti is all over the field trying in vain to create something, his newly arrived teammate and countrymen Gaston Fernandez is really looking poise to fit in Manager’s Caleb Porter scheme.
Still time is on Skipper Porter side as well adapting the new faces into the team’s upcoming compromises as well make the Green’s, take a dramatic turn of their campaign.
As the new lads fit the mold, very well enter into Manager Caleb Porter’s scheme as well their adaptations in a double quick, this to really start a new era and style of football Rose City style.
Indeed, Porterball is alive and kicking, a this chap really knows his business and moves that really made an all-around contender since his last campaign debut and mark my words- till the end of this one too!
Something that looks as a not easy endeavor, for this chap will be business as usual along his wisdom since his Managerial days at the collegiate levels, that for sure he will compose with his persistence that one of a kind initial eleven.
With the season progressing in giant steps, Manager Caleb Porter will level his ship and set it on the right course.
I do believe in Caleb Porter capabilities and perseverance of getting out of this slow start and overcome the odds and obstacles his club is going through- remember this man, made this club one not to mess with, since last campaign.
This season won’t be no exception, but a strong challenge that Manager Caleb Porter will deliver to the Rose City, not one but several shields to the halls of Providence Park, patience is a virtue and for Timbers fans, their faithfulness and support will be rewarded soon.

If I Root, I Root for the Timbers!

An Absence to Enjoy, as Long Celtic FC Can

One week to go and to enjoy a third consecutive Scottish Premier League Shield for the chaps of Celtic Glasgow, thanks to a long missed Rangers absenteeism.
You are aware of the troubles that sent one of the most traditional clubs into third division play, after that tumultuous scandal that banned this club from top level competition.
On the other side of Glasgow, Celtic Park is poised to conquer their third SPL Trophy as well make it their 45th in this club history along its top honor’s.
Nobody can enjoy the fruits of its success, as the Hoops Manager Neil Lennon who really has taken this club into new heights and with their archrival’s Rangers being out of the picture.
Its déjà vu all over again for the Celts in taking another league shield into Celtic Park halls, for now they’re enjoying a complete dominance over its league rivals.
As next week in SPL, Celtic FC is looking for some final scores in order to claim their third SPL Cup in a consecutive way, as next campaign their archrivals Rangers return to top tier play is an all-around fact.
With the Rangers back in the SPL picture for the 2014-2015 campaign, things will look somehow difficult for the Celts but not impossible in repeating as league champions again.
Still the Bhoys front office can become a little ambitious, in assembling a club so strong, that not even the Gers will be able to compete with as well take the always contested Glasgow Derby!
For now the Bhoys are to complete the feat and became the SPL 2013-2014 Edition Champions for the third time and with an uninterrupted fashion and with none to antagonize them.
At the end many of the Celts fans enjoy their successes, but the Teddy Bears arrival will mean a more competitive league as well a much better spectacle along its competitiveness to enjoy by many followers of the beautiful game.
Congratulations for both squads all around achievements first for the Bhoys winning their third consecutive SPL title and on the other side, the Light Blues ascent to the maximum circuit in Scottish Football, meaning a die-hard campaign is in the works in its next edition.

2014 Setanta Cup

This edition of the 2014 Setanta Cup, looks like the squads from the Republic of Ireland will be playing for a spot in the finals.
Before the Setanta Cup, previous competitions between these two nations included: the Dublin and Belfast Intercity Cup, North- South Cup, Blaxnit Cup, Texaco All Ireland Cup and the Tyler Cup.
Unfortunately these competitions ran only for a certain time as well the lack of interest was one of the main reasons to cease its operations.
Along with political reasons and security concerns- being among the main culprits for these competitions, for its sudden stoppage.
After founding this competition in 2005, Setanta Sports, made this event as a cross border competition between teams from North Ireland Premier League and the Federation Association of Ireland.
With eight squads in total and four from each of the two Irish Premier leagues, this event is seen like an all-around competition since its beginnings, although its format has change in its number of team’s competing.
As I previously mentioned since its first season were the Linfield Blues became the first squad to win this event by defeating the Republic of Ireland representative Shelbourne Reds and favorites to win it all, the Blues did the feat and upset them with a score of  2-1.
Although the NIPL top squad of the Blues became the first one to win this event, it has been the Republic of Ireland squads being the dominant ones with Drogheda United and Shamrock Rovers as the top winners with two wins each along Cork City and Bohemians.
As for the Northern squads Crusaders and Linfield are the only squads winning the cup, as for this 2014 edition we may say, that there won’t be anyone representing the NIPL in this edition.
The Airtricity League sides, looking to add a new trophy to their halls and claim bragging rights for their league and club, will really look at this part of the competition somehow difficult for the four semifinalists’.
Upcoming matches between Shamrock Rovers vs Dundalk and the last edition Champions’ of the Airtricty League in St. Patricks’ Athletic going over their archrivals Sligo Rovers, makes it a sort of interesting and exciting.
Many followers of this competition will hope that an all Dublin final between the Rovers and the Pats will highlight this 2014 Setanta Cup, but nothing is written in this prestigious event until the final whistle, good luck to this foursome.

A Champions Miracle at Old Trafford

After suffering a painful loss against their Merseyside rival’s in last week Derby, the Red Devils had a field day as well a performance worth of a Champion’s squad.
As Old Trafford lately has been the Manu Aquila’s heel with embarrassing losses in league and Cup play, at a cost, that has put the Red Devils squad in awe!
Coming into Old Trafford to play the second leg of their Champions compromise, Olympiakos really came determined to embarrassed and eliminate their English foes at home.
For the Greek misfortunes, nothing in soccer is written as they didn’t count with a Manchester squad looking to rescue in what many have dubbed as a controversial campaign.
In Champion’s league play, certainly looks a little favorable for the Red Devils, as a win that seems a little difficult but not impossible can salvage the odd campaign this chaps are having under David Moyes.
Not today, as the residents of the Theater of Dreams, really played like the old days under Fergies direction as well put an exhibition of brilliant football for their fans and the visitors that didn’t know what was happening all of a sudden.
Seeing with a certain inability to repeal United’s ferocious moves in the field, Olympiakos initial eleven, really became a sort of clueless as well crashed to a defensive wall courtesy of the home chaps very well a brilliant performance from big man David De Gea under the Red Devils posts!
Did I mention Robin Van Persie’s super performance as well scoring a triage of goals for the final overall victory over the Hellenic squad as well an out of this world performance from the Great Ryan Giggs.
An overall presentation as well lesson of football was seen in the field that day, which gave the Red Devils life in the quarterfinals of these prestigious tournament as well strengthen their group with boisterous victories, that at the end will serve as a motivator in Premiership and possibly rescue at least a European position.
As for Manager David Moyes this win became a sort of relief for now, still nothing has been won and so far he has to continue his push in Premiership as well try his best to continue his advancement successfully in Champions- were he really is having a one of a kind performance with his bhoys.
its where the Red Devils skipper is becoming a sort of confident with his group and possibly seeing a sort of light at the end of the tunnel, maybe United’s David Moyes is really finding his long lost formula and turn this club again into an overall contender, time will tell.
