The Finn Harps in search of their permanency in the Premier Division

By the way, the Finn Harps are arming themselves for this upcoming 2019 campaign in the SSE Airtricity League of Ireland, they are not only looking for a long stay in the Premier division but the league shield if possible.

After dispatching the likes of Limerick FC in that two game playoff, the Blue and White Army showed off its mettle and all around ambition to make a jump to the big circuit of the top circuit and sending the Super Blues packing to First Division.

However, for manger Ollie Horgan it was business as usual and after getting a vote of confidence to continue in the helm of the Ballybofey squad and make true contenders of this squad suddenly into a hardened one.

Still the way this club is arming towards this 2019, we cans state that this is one ambitious project by putting in its first order of business of signing a return of many of its important players in order to see a continuance of tier winning ways.

If this squad was an improved and competitive one in the First Division, you are right as results speak louder than words after their efforts put in display in that playoff that earned them the right to compete in the SSE.

So far, the Harps have re- signed the likes of Captain Keith Cowan, goalkeepers Ciaran Gallagher and Peter Burke, striker MickeyPlace, Nathan Boyle and defenders Niall Logue and Jacob Borge these responsible of a squad revival that in the end brought them the respect of many in this association.

By combining experience of last campaign veterans and its newcomers were are to see a tough squad and a very determined to push for the top spots seeking a European spot, tournament shields and possibly going for the league title.

The Harps are netting important names to come and play in Finn Park, so far with midfielders Caolan McAleer, Mark Timlin, Garrett Harkin, Mark Coyle, forwards Sam Verdon, Raffaelle Cretaro, and defenders Colm Deasy, Sam Todd and Daniel O’ Reilly.

One thing I see in this squad and manager Ollie Horgan is his seriousness and all around ambition to display a one of a kind campaign with his Harps as this squad reinforcing from A to Z that in the end their hopes for the better.

As they are looking forward to another amazing campaign and not looking back of making a return to First Division but many more seasons in the top flight and displaying a top notch football for many campaigns to come.

Still in the mind of manager Horgan he still short of a few signings but in the end by combining youth and experience, his hopes are pinned in the new players as well the retuning base that gave them the pass to the promised land of Premier Division.

The Finn Harps are one squad to follow closely in this edition of the League of Ireland and for sure will be a total challenger from day one and looking at them in the top four spots for sure with this squad assemble so far.

In the end a finish in the top three spots will be well deserved for a club that fought its way to the top circuit and earned it with its all-around efforts, I will follow this club very closely in this campaign.
