The revival continues for Ole Gunner Manchester United

Newcastle United 0, Manchester United 2
Saint James Park, Newcastle

All the right moves are becoming a staple for caretaker manager Ole Gunner Solksjaer, ever since his arrival at the helm of Man United, the man is staging a sort of revival but aware of the challenges to tackle ahead.

After his time on United, the Norwegian made a name for him as one of the utmost of substitute strikers and much celebrated for his feats in the golden years in his time under his mentor Sir Alex Ferguson.

So far, the man is taking advantage of all the wisdom he learned under Fergie, now putting it in practice, and a possible caretaker role turning into a permanent one if the continuance of positive results continues.

With today’s wins, he is proving the challenges being meet by several of his player’s responding under his direction by reviving their careers for the better and now results speaking louder than words as they enter into their fourth consecutive win.

Still as many stated about these wins against troublesome squads fighting for their permanency, but the conclusion is that no foe is easy or difficult and in spite of their troubles, these can become a handful for any squad.

Going to Saint James is no walk in the park, in spite of the Toon Boys having a challenged campaign; still these can play the role of spoiler and under Rafa Benitez desperate moves to be as far away from the abyss spots.

The match went on with a defensive block from both sides, as the visiting Manchester Boys looking at any cost to capitalize on the opportunities at goal, so did the Magpies looking at any opening these had as both sides showing off a tough football.

After a scoreless first half, for sure we were going to witness a more spectacular and fought off second half as both side looking forward the win not the draw as this contest become one sided for the Red Devils side finally connecting offensively.

By reminiscing his days when he came as a super sub, today that formula worked wonders when he introduced Romelu Lukaku for Anthony Martial in the 63’ minute no later than seconds passed by when the unthinkable happened.

Then came a free kick and the Geordie’s goalkeeper bounce doff his body on the rebound Romelu Lukaku pushing the ball for Manchester and putting the score in their favor to the joy of Ole Gunner celebrating in the sidelines.

As the United side look efficiently for the second score this came in the 80’ minute when Alexis Sanchez coming as a sub in the 63’ minute passing to Marcus Rashford for the go ahead goal and sealing the victory for United in the Toon.

In the end Manu under Ole Gunner, he is turning things around for what used to be his old club and now turning it into a contender and within six points of fourth place Chelsea and fifth place Arsenal.
