The Impact Played Like a True Champion and Worthy MLS Representative

They fought their way into the CONCACHAMPIONS League finals with desires to win it all, as well write history as the first Canadian squad to do such feat and try to be the third squad in Major League Soccer since its twenty year inception.

the unfortunate side for Frank Klopas is after a nice result in a draw at Mexico City Azteca Stadium, were Mexican squads are supposed to be invincible, their biggest loss was starting goalkeeper Evan Bush who got suspended by accumulation of cards.

Very well seeing an immediate opening of the hostilities in the eight minute with the Andean combination of Ignacio Piatti and Andres Romero who this latter one opened the score to the delirium of the Gars fans in Stade Olympique.

Filled to its maximum capacity and its Ultras followers awaiting for the ultimate of miracles, their representative was one worthy opponent as well an awesome representative of Major League Soccer, in this events known to be dominated by Mexican and Central American squad’s.

By seeing a determined and ambitious Impact squad eliminating giants in its way to the finals and with Costa Rican powerhouse and CCL  squad considered as important in Liga Deportiva Alajuelense, the Gars of the Montreal Impact who were so close and yet so far of the achievement.

As many have seen a sudden growth in American Soccer especially in this league and in the National squad levels, being Team USA the new giant of CONCACAF as well a dominant of national squad’s in the region.

Major League Soccer squads are almost on the verge of emulating the Stars and Stripes squad as we saw tonight with a belligerent and ambitious Impact that never ceased to quit or give up in their desires to lift the trophy and became a representative in Japan’s World Cup of Clubs.

Their unfortunate side was a possessed Dario Benedetto who was the hero with three goals in the 50’, 66’ and 81’ alongside Oribe Peralta who contributed in the 64’ for the final score of 4-2 and a global of 5-3 overall.

Still the Impact substitute in Jack McInerney, who replaced Marco Donadel on the 67’ minute, saw his efforts coming short after scoring in the 89’ minute the honor goal in what seems a match filled with a lot of yellow cards from both sides.

One thing the Impact didn’t count on Mexico’s Club America was its experience in tournaments like this and to play with loads of pressure is one thing already dominated by this Mexican sqaud and added on to their repertoires to the final score.

The local Impact defensive side couldn’t contain or decipher a team America frontal attack that really gave a lot of satisfactions and pleasure to its Boss Gustavo Matosas who got his efforts rewarded as well his strategies falling into place.

At the end I do congratulate the lads of Club America for their efforts and never giving back as well for the Montreal Impact their all-around resolution and determination to reach into these levels was one major achievement in this club history.

Allez Impact for your one and only performance that made your followers from the City of Mary, dream of a possible shield that could adorn the halls of Saputo Stadium, maybe next time you never know and now focus on the league remaining matches, well done!

“From CCR to Azteca, always faithful.”

Hold Those Intrepid, Incredible and Firm Foxes

Or hold its initial eleven accountable for their recent wave of wins, which so far are making life a bit easier for their Manager Nigel Pearson and making it to the promise land of their salvation in small steps.

Dubbed as the Relegation Derby were both of these squads are fighting for their permanency or return to next campaign of Premiership play.

The locals having behind a whole venue in Turf moor to give them a push and net a valuable win considered important for Sean Dyche and his Clarets looking to score three golden points.

Not today in what many saw a very tight and defensive match were only a lone score from Jamie Vardy in the   60th minute of play making the difference for the visiting Leicester City Foxes playing so far a brilliant football.

Indeed the Leicester City chaps are poised for their salvation, as the Burnley crew isn’t seeing clearly any signs of salvation ahead in any match played lately in what’s becoming a sort of disastrous and modest campaign.

Leading them to the always infamous Championship abyss, something not planned by any squad after being promoted to play with the big boys of Premiership and so far the Clarets are gearing up for an imminent return to the promotion league.

For Leicester City four in a row and maybe counting one more win at the always at home with a difficult Stamford Bridge Park squad the Chelsea Blues celebrating their overall achievement and naming rights as this edition of Barclay's League Champions.

Not bad for the Leicester City squad, that really had its struggles all campaign long in their efforts of making an all-around impact, as in their initial matches, many remember that upsetting victory over Manchester United.

Leicester City fell into a certain slump and as many already declared this squad long gone from the ranks of Premiership, still is running strong and by playing an ambitious football in every match as it was their last one!

So far tied with Sunderland but ahead on overall average is what separates the Foxes from the Black Cats fighting for their lives this latter ones and so far with a new Boss in Dick Advocaat, things aren’t working as expected at Stadium of Light.

For the Foxes their upcoming matches playing as a home squad with Chelsea, Newcastle, Southampton and closing with Queens Park Rangers, here the Foxes can declare themselves in the possibility of claiming their bragging rights as a saved entity.

As in these matches with Sunderland the only squad to be played at Tyne-Daly, Nigel Pearson Boys will have a challenge and a match to be disputed as it was a final as things continued as contested for these squad’s in the final run.

The next matches will be indeed crucial as well disputed for the Leicester City Foxes in their effort to save themselves in the battle of no descent as well make another run in next campaign in the English Premier League.

One Step Beyond for the AFC Bournemouth Cherries

Indeed, it was another step beyond for the Bournemouth Cherries after netting another promotion to play with the big guns of the English Premier League in this 2015-16!

For the lads of Athletic Football Club Bournemouth, it’s a giant accomplishment for this club since its inception as an organized entity after 116 years of hard work, which finally paid off with style.

After nabbing the second automatic pass into the big league and renewed hopes as well challenges ahead for next campaign playing with the big boys of EPL, Manager Eddie Howe is up and ready alongside his crew to fend whatever comes their ways.

By seeing how a Yellow Army of Watford FC suffered in their celebration efforts- after hearing all of their close rivals results, the Boscombe lads didn’t wanted that to happen to merits and efforts showed in this rewarding campaign.

So a hand on approach and with a resounding win over the Bolton Wanderer’s at home with a convincing and over exaggerated score, the Cherries are in.

With scores from Marc Pugh on the 39’ minute, Matt Richie 44’ and the putting the icing on top of the cake, was Callum Wilson on the 78’ who culminated the work that gave them their historic pass and overall accomplishment.

One dominating entity was the initial eleven put in by Boscombe Boss Eddie Howe, showing his strategies being in the right place as well his Boys really putting on a show for their followers who never ceased in supporting their Cherries.

Another one bites the dust for Manager Howe, by  putting in display his skills as a Manager that so far is doing a wonderful job a the helm of this club netting his third promotion since his arrival to the Halls of Dean Court.

Netting three promotions, being so far one came as a runner up in 2009-10 in League Two where they earned an automatic promotion to League One and Football League One 2012-13 once again as runner’s ups that gave them their pass again to Championship.

And the rest is history as this Championship run this 2014-15 showed off their mettle and another one bit the dust one more time, as the Cherries are for the first time in their history in the English Premiership League ranks.

for now Bournemouth is filled with joy and celebrating how dreams comes true and its rewards of seeing their squad finally make their impressions in the EPL, competing in one of the world’s best and contested entity, The Cherries will have to give up their best.

So around this time of the campaign they aren’t fighting for their survival and prevent their relegation once again to the Championship League, at the end welcome aboard chaps and congratulations on a job well done, bravo for Bournemouth City and its Boys feats!

United Stumbles and its Horrors Continue at Merseyside’s Goodison Park

It looks for Manchester United Boss Louis Van Gaal who didn’t see it coming, after last week loss to Barclay’s imminent champions the Blues and once again seeing his boys falling prey to a suddenly streaked Everton Toffees squad.

Making it for his Red Devils a sort of ghoulish back to back losses with a local Blues squad, and seeing their sudden streak halted abruptly, after facing a squad that all of a sudden is playing happily like its old times.

That unfortunate for their Boss Roberto Martinez, is that all of a sudden his Everton chaps are seeing a sort of revival finally happening at Goodison Park, their unfortunate side is at the end of this campaign and with four matches left only.

As many placed the School of Science at the beginning of this campaign as an overall contender as well fighting for their permanency in the top four and netting a European position, suddenly they fought all campaign with adversity and possibly relegation's.

A squad that can really play one on one with anyone in the league, regardless of their high status and importance, very well to label as the spoiler for all of them, this campaign was a sort of surprise for their sudden ways of playing a sort of modest football.

Still their streak at home and against their archival from across Merseyside in Manchester United, seems to be intact as well repeating the dose once again as they did in last campaign when their former Boss David Moyes was at the helm in Old Trafford.

Something that for United’s Boss Van Gaal at his arrival at Goodison Park and read on one of its corners about three of its players dubbed as the Holy Trinity, his answers were answered quickly by an inspired John Mc Carthy, John Stones and Kevin Mirallas.

This threesome contribute for the all-around humiliation and dominance at home for the Peoples Club, that so far already have found the way to make things difficult as well making Goodison Park a sort of house of horrors for the Red Devils.

A wonderful run so far being experienced by the Toffees who in their last six matches and with eighteen points in play, they netted sixteen in a brilliant if not magnificently and with four matches left in the campaign, the Toffees can continue their ascent in the table.

With upcoming compromises as away matches in Villa Park to play Aston Villa and Boleyn Grounds and face a deflated West Ham and at home matches with Sunderland and closing the campaign with  Tottenham, a match not seen as an easy one.

For the Manchester United lads and its Manager Louis Van Gaal being in a state of shock and awe after seeing his initial eleven played miserably in the field and with moves that at the end didn’t worked at all, seeing his squad played in a sort of trance or relaxed mode.

His upcoming matches will be important if he wants to see the Trafford Boys return to European competitions as well close the campaign with much higher note, as of this match he should bury it in the past and continue his project full speed ahead.

At the end for Roberto Martinez will be a sort of wake up call to see what he would accomplished with his chaps after a campaign that saw many down at times, still his project and plans for next campaign can be solved with a nice performance from his Boys.
