Scandalous upset and rout for the Republic of Ireland in Wales

Welcome to international and competitive football Ryan Giggs as the former Manu great started his era with a bang in Cardiff City Stadium in the kickoff start of the newly originated UEFA Nations League. 

With a 4-1 rout the Welsh still in their minds, after their elimination from World Cup competition by the Green Army and todays win was a somewhat a sort of paid back after seeing a subdue Republic of Ireland initial eleven.

From the get go the Welsh Dragons under a sea of supporters in their national stadium, these silence many of its doubters after many state about this team being around one man in Gareth Bale and today unity prevailed among the Dragons. 

Teamwork and fully dominance wins games and today these Giggs and company were on target as well displaying an amazing game that in the end these came victorious putting away a confused Republic of Ireland 11. 

For both managers displaying different set of formations with the Ireland side manager Martin O’ Neill sending a 4-4-2 formation with Callum Robinson and Jon Walters in the frontal attack, contrary to Ryan Giggs 4-2-3-1 sending Gareth Bale in the front.

Early in the game, the Welsh defense started making their presence versus the Republic of Ireland immediate in minute 6’ Wales Tom Lawrence opens up the score to a frenzy of the attendees and putting the score in favor of the home squad.

In the duel of defenders, Tom Lawrence beat the likes of Ireland Ciaran Clark to score the first of four goals in the evening to the amazement of the Green Army initial eleven not believing their eyes.

The Boys in Green looking a bit disoriented but at time looking forward to start a rally, but the might and inspiration of a fighting Welsh squad was very visible since the beginning of this match with many challenges going in their favor.

Once again, Mister Real Madrid man Gareth Bale was present with a beautiful goal in the 18’ minute, sentencing the match for the Welsh side and the boys in Green still stupefied of what going on the field.

However, the Republic of Ireland side started to put more possession on the ball but not for a long time when those inspired Welsh return the favor to the visiting Green Army and started making some plays until the coveted third goal arrived.

The man from Arsenal puts the score at 3-0 in the 37’ minute and sentencing the match more in favor of the locals that were push in every play by their local fan base that never stopped in supporting their Welsh Dragons.

Despite the rout, give the Boys in Green an A for their efforts coming short but in the end could be worse after many blocks and stopping the local’s momentum whenever these had the ball and started a drive towards the posts defended with no success by Darren Randolph. 
 
Still the Welsh were to add the last goal in the 55’ minute by another defender in Conor Roberts that after his score this match already wrapped up by the Wales bunch that had everything going in their favor in the course of the whole match. 

Despite the locals controlling the match in the 66’ minute Republic of Ireland Shaun Williams score the honor goal that broke the clean sheet, but in the end despite the Boys in Green making some move and intents coming short.
