A mangy and miserable
point, out of a goal fest filled afternoon in this Tyne Daly Park, which unfortunately
saw a team in dire need of a leader.
If the Toon is in
need of a man capable to turn things around at its helm, you are very right
indeed, as of today’s match this club lacked a certain spark in the field.
And believe me, this isn’t
a work of wizards, but of a man that needs a will of steel and resolve to make polish
this club from a rough to a polish diamond.
After all with Alan Pardew,
this club really worked well and with a contentious direction, their unfortunate
side was the lack of consistency shown.
That was then and now
is the focus to the make front to a challenging second half in what many are
seeing again a much contested Premiership and with squads poised to reach to the
top.
Still tenth position isn’t
so bad with twenty seven points overall and a match pending with first place
Chelsea Blues that already the Magpies defeated brilliantly early and stopped
their winning streak cold.
Now is the chance for
the Newcastle United chaps to create havoc as a visiting entity to Stamford Bridge,
as a win over the Blues will be a sort of injection of optimism and their push
to the top five positons as well assured a European one.
Will be a campaign
well worth it, still I condemn the lack of interest and ambition by this club front
office to lure the likes of the Welsh skipper Tony Pulis to Saint James Park.
This chap is one
determined Boss and with the current roster and player support if needed, he
could it turn the Geordies into a force not to mess with and take them to the promise
lands if not positions.
With Tim Sherwood
still available, the Magpies can get a winner and ambitious Skipper to prove he’s
managerial material for any entity in EPL or any other league, this in part if someone
upstairs at St. James makes up its mind.
Pitiful if the
Geordies lose another potential candidate and start experimentation, when the remaining
matches in league will really count and put this club potential into the abyss
of relegation.
Hopefully for Newcastle
United owner Mike Ashley and its Chairman Lee Chernley can get serious about their
club faith and its much needed leadership at its helm.
Newcastle United can
turn things around in what’s the remainder of this campaign, but a much needed
Boss is in need to turn things around at Saint James.
Wanted a man with
leadership and conviction of making a club as traditional as the Toon an
overall contender and potential winner that once again, delivers some much
needed silverware to its halls!
Happy and Prosperous New Year 2015!
