The Portland Timbers Utmost Spirit

That rocks all of the confines of all Major League Soccer this 2015, very well netting the most coveted of trophies in America’s professional and stellar soccer league.

Along with a new format, in this editor of Major League Soccer, where the top six clubs of each conference could net a pass to the postseason and the finalist of each one to dispute the MLS Cup.

After a campaign, that the Portland Timbers Boss really had a hard time accommodating an initial eleven that could give him a consistent series of positive results at the end.

The Timbers began playing a wonderful football despite the lack of a scoring drive that could decide some important matches; still coming under the clutch, they earned very valuable wins at home and mostly important in their away matches.

Still for Manager Caleb Porter, all campaign long, after making adjustments in his lineup and trying to get the best in his starting crew as well net a consistent strategy.

Finally, his efforts paid off and saw proudly how his Boys started playing a brilliant and one of a kind football, were the Timbers never looked back and played a one on one to whomever they faced.

Netting an important win at Columbus, the Rose City lads suffered a very disheartening defeat in the last minute at home with a difficult and aggressive SKC, being in danger their pass to the league postseason.
It is when the Portland squad started playing a very ambitious football as a Band of Brothers and netting important results and climbing into the league table.

After putting an offensive display at a match considered a bit difficult at Stub Hub Center in Los Angeles and playing a star studded Galaxy, the Timbers did the ultimate of feats with resounding 5-2 win.

Before that, the PTFC edged an always-difficult RLS at always tough Rio Tinto Stadium and setting this stage with their last match of the campaign against a cellar stricken Colorado Rapids, still for the Timbers this match could become a hard one.

As the visiting Rocky Mountain Chaps with nothing to lose as they already eliminated, but at the end, the visiting squad could put on a show and ruined the PTFC prospects to the big fete.

A madhouse at Providence Park became after a wonderful offensive display over Colorado and at the end, many of its followers knew their fate in the upcoming knock out stages with a hardened and tough to played SKC.
Everything started in Providence, with a wild shootout out like the old west but with the fortunes going in favor of our Portland Timbers who earned their pass with an all-around style.

Proving that this match became the spark that ignited this squad self-confidence and edging tough opponents such as Dallas FC and then the rest is history with a grand win against a Columbus Crew that the Timbers really dominated in this edition.

The spirit of determined men in this initial eleven really proved too many in the soccer world that unity can move not only mountains but also can net import achievements, is what the Portland Timbers showed us.

At the end, this squad made believers of many of its followers and proved that nothing written until you write your own history, which was the way on a squad called the Mighty PTFC!
