After playing an
amazing and one of a kind game, suddenly the Boys from Old Trafford are looking
quite fine and determined to recover their long lost place.
After witnessing a
very inspired and hungry Red Devils squad- playing like in their old glory days
of Fergie along with an all-around inspiration going for the ultimate of feats.
For Manager Louis Van
Gaal finally his work is showing off positively in many ways and his players
developing a more confident game.
As the Manu follower’s
chants state about a trip to Wembley, this time they sure did and earned it with
plenty of style by booking a final ticket in the always elusive and coveted FA
Cup.
By seeing a very
inspired Red Devils squad in the field, showing off how prepared they were to
face off with their always difficult and always tough client in the Everton Toffees.
A touch of semifinals
and a much-disputed one seen whenever these two initial elevens square off regardless
the competition, we are always sure to see sparks fly.
This match had a lot
of value for the Manu squad after seeing a long drought of silverware going to their
halls at Old Trafford. A win in this competition
would be the tops for their Manager and players of the likes of Wayne Rooney.
In the case of the
Everton Boys as in every campaign they see their efforts drown and with no shields
to show off in their halls back at Goodison Park. For the School of Science Boss,
at the end he saw his confidence turned out to be his worst foe at the end.
A win would mean the
world to be in another final of this kind. That maybe the opportunity and
prospects of erasing the negativity of a modest campaign, was a way for Manager
Roberto Martinez to redeem himself to this club highest hierarchy.
Unfortunately things did
not went the Spaniard way and with moves that left many of his followers in the
stands fuming as well for seeing such disgrace. After seeing his club and strategies
failed for the Blues all afternoon long and constantly seeing many mishaps.
As why Lukaku err a
PK and many opportunities to score, the way Baines, Stone and Besic this latter
one being in conflict with his imposed position, little they did t contain a driven
United.
Very well, seeing how
De Gea showed off why he is so valuable at the posts for United, as well a
former Toffee in Marouanne Fellaini scoring the opening goal of the match.
An
in stoppage time, how Anthony Martial took single handedly the Everton
defenders to score the winning goal.
The only down side
for the Red Devils was an erratic Chris Smalling scoring on his own goal that
narrow tied the match and somehow injected some life to the Peoples Club, at
the end they came up short and the results speak for themselves.
So far, for the Dutch
Boss his Boys persistence really earned them a rightful place in the final of
this prestigious event. For new challenges ahead for Manchester United, still many
will be asking if a FA Cup win, assures Louis Van Gaal another stint and return
to Old Trafford into next campaign.
