The Sounders Treble of a Campaign

Another feat for Sigi Schmidt, Seattle Sounders man at the helm, after his squad, just clinched the first position in the league postseason.

Along of standing firm in the Western Division, solidly in the top and looking somehow unstoppable in the upcoming league playoffs, making them a favorite to take it all.

Indeed, after being so close in the past, this campaign certainly looks like the Emerald City squad is determined to win it all and maybe deliver the coveted and desired Major League Soccer Shield.

The Rave Greens are ready for everything, as their next compromise going in the US Open Cup over a riled up Philadelphia Union, doesn’t look a bit easy- still for the Sounders being in this competition isn’t a first for them.

Still by being no strangers for this competition, after winning three shields and going possibly for a fourth one, that at the end will be welcomed in its halls at Century Link Field.

Very well running with a league perfect points percentage and seven ahead of its closest competitor in the Supporter Shield race, the Seattle squad is looking poised to win it too!

Although the playoff system in MLS is a little bit complicated and competed; as well tiring for the participating squads- many experts see this edition in the Emerald City Bhoys like one top of the line contenders and overall winners.

For Seattle’s top Boss, his philosophy is taking it easy and one step at a time, as he wouldn’t want to take any chances that will spoil his plans and his players focus.

His chaps are playing a one of a kind and stellar football, that’s making all sort of headlines in every field of Major League Soccer, with it’s out of this world football.

Hopefully this is it! As always the league title being so elusive, the Seattle chaps keeping healthy and no sideline injuries, in any of its top guns, maybe this campaign the Sound will have something to celebrate with a couple of winners.

Let’s not get ahead and wait for results and patience being a virtue for the Sounders skipper, making him one another successful boss in Major League Soccer.

If his wishes come into reality, this will be a one campaign for the books and the Sounders history of many successes, after this entire club has set many milestones.

Being the first to break attendances records in all of MLS, great and top of the line supporter base- that many will say, why not reward them with a treble of a campaign, they deserve it!

This Week in Premiership, Headlines a Superb United’s Win!

Suddenly after a couple of odd and mediocre results, it looks like the Old Trafford squad, is up and running towards a stellar campaign.

As promised off course by it’s newly appointed skipper Louis Van Gaal, the Red Devils are up on their way to recover their old form and return to old glories past.

After an aggressive shopping spree by the Dutch boss in need of results from a demanding fan base, finally it looks like his initial eleven is looking to deliver as expected.

I mean with a lineup that includes the likes of Angel Di Maria, Juan Mata alongside Robin Van Persie and Wayne Rooney making an armada of its frontal attack to its Premiership foes.

Alongside a defensive backfield with the likes of Johnny Evans and newly incorporated Marcos Rojo that will make a one two punch and assure keeper De Gea a sort of relaxing afternoon.

The Red Devils are sure looking to be one competitive force in the remainder of the campaign; although the league is in its initial phases, that possibly the Red Devils will be a sort of contenders in opposition to their past campaign sorry performance.

A win is a win, I know that, but don’t let your bells toll too early as this achievement was with a squad that we will see at the end of this campaign, struggling and fighting for its survival, a common thing for the chaps of QPR.

Very well a performance like Di Maria offered maybe we can see many encores or maybe not, playing with the likes of Man City in the Manchester Derby we will the might, challenge and resolve of its newly incorporated millionaire’s.

I mean playing with squads of the likes of Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal a healthy one of course and Liverpool, this will be a test for the Van Galacticos as many have dubbed this new generation of united players.

Something similar to its Spanish counterparts in La Liga Real Madrid superstar armada, still this multimillion lineup can be a sort of motivated ahead of what they are witnessing in its Premiership foes a competed and contested edition of the English Premier League!

It won’t come easy for the Man United chaps, as every match it will be played like they were playing it as a final and whatever the squad they face, very challenging indeed , will be their contests from now on along of a minute by minute contest.

Burnley Aims for a Successful Premiership

Lancashire is one proud entity in its prodigal sons, their own Burnley Clarets considered a one determined squad, to rock the living foundations of Premiership.

Not an easy endeavor for a recently promoted squad, living the dream and facing a group of hungry titans, seeking the ultimate of glories.

The Clarets are up and running with the big boys and very determined to make an all-around statement in this edition of the English Premier League.

For the Clarets Manager Sean Dyche, it’s a matter of pride and honor as a well fulfilling an impossible mission, which at the end can be a fulfilling one.

Still for the Claret’s top Boss is not just showing off and play, but a fight till the death, if they want to reach their goals of permanency into the one of the worlds most competed tourneys.

As many have known it as the EPL, one of the most prolific leagues in the planet as well one of the most contested and dynamic from its beginning stages till it’s the final matches of its campaign.

Burnley FC is one serious troop, looking to erase a sort of negativism and demonstrate their mettle and compete with the big guns.

With many of this clubs arming themselves to the teeth and spending millions in big name players to reinforce their initial elevens, the Clarets a modest and limited club with a budget.

Managed to get a group of players determined to make some noise in their new club as well put on a series of die-hard performance’s to reach their ultimate goal.

One thing for sure, that history is made with achievers and its Manager Sean Dyche is poised to deliver and with his club spirit of struggle and all around determination.

So results can be made a reality once again for its followers at Turf Moor, after all a sense of camaraderie and unity make this club one force not to be reckon with.

Once mentioned by soccer great skipper and World Cup Champion Argentinian Cesar Luis Menotti, the brethren among the members of a squad are the biggest assets for its success.

Something that this club is looking forward to its future generations in its academy, that so far have deposit its hopes in North Ireland youth international Cameron Dummigan and another stand out prospect in Kieran Trippier.

This squad is up for the time of its life and overall challenge to really make a valiant and strong show, nevertheless making a strong impact against the titans of Premiership, Burnley may live for the challenge!

Is There Life after Pulis at Crystal Palace?

Tony Pulis was seen in last campaign, as a savior and a spoiler for the so called big guns of Premiership and assuring his club permanency.

A project that became fruitful by saving Crystal Palace a trip to the infamous relegation positions, very well was awakening a new style of football.

During the summer transfer market, the Eagles front offices showed a certain passiveness or indifference to opening up its wallets and announce new signings.

All of a sudden the Eagles top boss quit the squad, under allegations of a stingy front office and incapable of putting some monies and investing in new players.

Pitiful indeed, when this chap really did his job as promised, without any fanfare, suddenly Crystal Palace followers saw in disbelief his departure.

Still this is a club to front a campaign and with a new man at the helm, Crystal Palace will make to its compromises in league play and its internal competitions.

Too little too late, was the arrival of new players to this London entity, still will they survive without their former front men, maybe, but a long road ahead is seen with a lot of difficulties.

Aspiring for the title under former skipper Tony Pulis was out of the question, maybe a position in the middle and overcome that 11^th place finishing last campaign- had some reality.

For now the new Boss Neil Warnock known for his short fuse and well known to pull ahead his clubs he managed before, he can sure assure the faithful at Selhurst Park- a sound campaign.

No assurances of shields, only a secure position way out of the danger zone and prevent a trip to the Championship League, not so welcome in this parts of London town.

Many have deposited their trust in the Eagles newcomers, such players as former Manu Wilfred Zaha, Zeki Fryers Tottenham and Martin Kelly from Liverpool.

Just to name you a few, hopefully will adapt to the new scheme planned by its new skipper Warnock and put this squad ready for an all-around attack and high competitiveness on Premiership.

Crystal Palace will have a good performance as this squad is meant to aspire to high positions and with the majority of its players returning and the new arrivals, maybe we can see some positive results and maybe these Eagles can fly high!
