Nowadays for United a
win is a win and an all-around achievement by the Trafford Boys after juggling
a not so easy and welcoming campaign for them and especially it’s Manager.
As those awful and miserable
critics keep insisting that the current Red Devils Boss Louis Van Gaal isn’t to
fit to manage this squad, wrong he’s proving everyone as well making it feel at
time like old times.
For those boys in red
as well all of a sudden his initial eleven is making strides and recovering some
of their lost territory after their modest campaign under then David Moyes at the
helm.
Still that was then
and now is the present that the Dutch skipper is fixing very patiently and
delivering results as expected and putting the Red Devils within eight points
of first place and arch-rivals Chelsea.
A nice afternoon of great
football with a certain display of dominance by United’s chap’s throughout the
whole match as well seeing a Wayne Rooney scoring with an easiness that
suddenly the White Pele is back!
Yes he’s back with
such an authority that the opposing squad’s defenders are becoming a bit uneasy
of facing Rooney or even playing him on a one to one basis.
Ask that to a
frustrated and amazed Spurs Boss Poche looking helpless in the sidelines in how
his Lilywhites were defeated and taken to school by an inspired United squad.
Very well how Van
Gaal saw a determined and secured Marouane Fellaini opening the first score of the
match as well making the Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris a bit uncomfortable and
hurried by his constant attacks.
How an inspired Man United
midfield really had the game in their grasps and under control for a good part
of the match as well David De Gea as always being there in the right place and
time not allowing any liberties to the visiting Londoners.
By the way the
backfield really did an incredible job and with a Daley Blind, Antonio Valencia,
Chris Smalling and Phil Jones kept Harry Kane at bay the whole match and not
allowing him to make any move towards their goalposts.
Mastery of a match is
what United showed once again to its detractors very well silencing everyone as
the Red Devils are recovering in little giant steps their positions and within
reach of Manchester City as their next move.
Very convincing the
revival of several of Manchester United players displayed in the field at the Theater
of Dreams, as their prodigal sons really show off a nice match and game like no
other in this campaign, Tottenham is not an easy foe by the way!
With their next week
match and not considered a walk in the park, as their rivals in their
Merseyside rivals Liverpool Reds going at Anfield, this match won’t be a walk
in the park, a win will surpass their cross
town rival’s the Sky Blues.
As well became a
force not to mess with in the remainder of the campaign, as a win at Anfield
will be a shoot in the arms for Louis Van Gaal boys and the motivation ahead to
seek not only a Champion’s League position but maybe the Barclay’s Shield.
