They are back! I mean
those newly revamped and suddenly energized Boys from Stamford Bridge, are
looking once again like there no stopping them now.
For the time by, the
arrival of Guus Hiddink seen so far as a savior and taking over at the helm of
Chelsea, suddenly the mood and attitude of the team is making a change for the better.
Seeded in thirteenth
place with 28 points and moving on up, with six points earned out of eighteen
in play but no losses in any of their matches lately.
The Pensioners are
suddenly on the road to recovery and with players seen as disappointing in this
campaign, all of a sudden are on the road to recovery and trying to salvage
their campaign with top-notch performances.
As Cesc Fabregas and Diego
Costa on today’s match in the Super London Derby, their performances really earned
them a notable mark as well for the latter one scoring the winning goal.
All of a sudden, this
star filled squad is really on the verge of resurrection as well seeking its
rightful place among the top four league spots.
Nothing is impossible
and the Blues are playing a new kind of football with new prospects for long
lost excellences, very well playing today the role of spoiler in front of thousands
of Gunner fans, seeing once again their luck going down.
Very well, silencing
Emirates was the work of Diego Costa and his mates that really did the feat and
silenced a hot streaked Arsenal squad and derailing its hopes to tie the top
with Leicester City.
The heat is on as
that Kenny Loggings song, with a new era and Boss at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea
can really make a run to Champions spots if not the top spots.
Still the road to
perfection has its tolls and with a schedule considered not so easy that
includes the likes of Watford, Manu, Newcastle United, Southampton, Norwich
City and Stoke City.
Seen as one though challenge
as many can state no biggie with some squads, as I been recalling the way this edition
has been dubbed as the David one, with some of the small entities are playing
like there’s no tomorrow.
For now, the Chelsea
Boys of Guus Hiddink are back with a vengeance and looking as the old hardened
Blues of last campaign now playing a very serious type of football, something this
squad reputation precedes them.
In addition, the airs
of change are becoming very notable since the arrival of the Dutch Boss; the immediate
airs of change evidently seen!
A new start for the
Blues is what this second half is bringing for the central London squad that so
far had a sorry series of performances in the sorry Mourinho era long forgotten
and now the Hiddink era in its apogee.
Looking good and with lots of prospects of rebuilding
their campaign, the Chelsea Blues are on a roll and looking like their old
selves one more time, can they mount a streak?
