A painted Red Manchester Derby

Finally, we have a Manchester Derby painted in Red when the visiting Manu Boys came and deliver a major blow to the Citizens defense of their title as well its aspirations, after enduring a harrowing upset at home in Etihad Stadium.

As many states that this is somehow a turnaround for the Trafford side as many states that the days for ole Gunner Solksjaer may be numbered but for now the former Red Devil great is delivering back to back wins.

With a midweek win at home over a resurgent Tottenham and their former boss Jose Mourinho, today’s win away is somehow looking that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel for the Red Devils.

Still, one game at a time for this embattled United side that suddenly is making a statement in tier game with their young core that makes up their current initial eleven displaying a top-notch football.

However, it did not come easy as the Citizens almost made a comeback and spoil the win for the visitors but in the end, these came big and stopping the Sky Blues momentum and deliver another amazing win in the course of three days.

For Solksjaer winning back to back games in a stunning fashion is sending messages of his readiness to make this club the contender once was and start heading into a fresh start with his young initial eleven displaying a sudden hunger.

Not every day you can come to Eithad and upset the hosts like the United Boys did today, as for one of the world's most winningest of manager Pep Guardiola this season his project is suffering dearly a series of setbacks and dropping important games.

Contrary to Ole Gunner, the man looks like is getting in the field the right eleven as well displaying the right moves for his team that suddenly is getting the better side of the competition and delivering important results.

When United was hard at work with Marcus Rashford in the attack, suddenly he was fouled by City David Silva, but the play continued until the game official awarded the play in favor of the visitors and Rashford scoring the first goal on a PK.

As Manchester United on the 23’ minute putting them away team with the lead for a red-hot Marcus Rashford scoring again thanks to a VAR decision, not even six minutes passed by when United sentenced the match.

In the 29’ minute Anthony Martial via Daniel James the combination sentenced the match in the first half, still the reaction from the home side became visible in the 85’ when Ottamendi made this a one-game goal.

In the end, the reaction for the Sky Blues went in vain as a determined and hard fighting Manchester United at no cost were to lose the win and stepped up its defensive game and denied the Citizens at least a point.
