With a bold purchase, the top man at Major League Soccer helm really made an impacting announcement in the purchase of a hapless City of Angels squad.
It’s the other residents at the Home Depot Center that after Bob Bradley departure as its skipper- this squad has been playing a mediocre and nonsense football.
Yes this squad is called Chivas USA, after their purchase recently from Omni Life head man Mexican Jorge Vergara, finally the league will have a say in this squad development and preparing it for this campaign competition.
As always a man with a vision for success- Major league Soccer Commissioner Don Garber has already envisioned a plan for this squad- in the league sudden expansion program that has aroused the interest in several cities in the Union.
In the case for Chivas USA, its plans so far are for this squad to stay in Los Angeles and build a squad capable to make them attractive to flock its followers again to their Carson venue.
Still there’s a long way to go as well thirty four matches to play and prove themselves in this edition of MLS that really has seen many squads arming themselves to the teeth- to really contend for several of the league shields in play.
By bringing players of different calibers, so far Chivas USA can call this upcoming season as a new era, with a constellation of new players coming into its ranks giving it a boost into its new Manager’s game.
For newcomer man at the helm Colombian Wilmer Cabrera, making his debut in MLS, will be a challenge well worth taking along to prove his skills in making this squad a force not to be reckon with this 2014.
So far Chivas USA will have its hands full in competing for the top five spots in the Western Division in order to make it to the always sought league postseason- something that proves a ways difficult but not impossible for this renovated Goats squad.
Also this squad will really fare well against its venue nemesis the always stellar LA Galaxy, which these matches in the season will be considered or baptized as the Angelino Classic!
At the end Chivas USA can have a one of a kind campaign if all of its plans and goals are reached as it was envisioned by its new directives- to really deliver to its fans that never ceased to support its beloved Goats regardless of the results in the field.
It’s why the Goats are ready to fight and confront any of its upcoming challenges in the upcoming campaign that promises to be a dandy for this Angelino squad, let’s go Chivas!
