Limerick Seeking its Salvation One Match at a Time!

What a difference a match makes when your squad suddenly is playing like someone possessed them and making seek their all-around salvation in this edition of the Airtricity League of Ireland.

A much celebrated 3-1 win over a sudden deflated and pessimistic St. Patrick’s Athletic that suddenly are playing one very mediocre football, something taken in advantage by the Boys in Blue!

With a double from Ian Turner and James Chamber’s to seal a victory as well playing a superb match with just 10 men in the field after a red card to defender Shaun Kelly, that wasn’t taken advantage by the Pats.

Suddenly this win for the Super Blues seals a winning streak in six matches with their fifth as well looking for a way out of the infamous relegation spot at the bottom of the table, so far showing off a much contested football.

As a very determined Limerick Boss looking to make things work for his initial eleven, suddenly he’s seeing his Boys perform like there’s no tomorrow as well like there was a shield in play.

Two points is what separates the Super Blues from the Sligo Rovers for the salvation, as these later ones drew in their last match, the Lims continuance of great play in the upcoming matches they can really surpass anyone in the league table.

And although for them to make a run for the league top four spots, nothing is written with twenty points in total after a slow start and sudden revival that can equal to their salvation if things fall into the Blues way.

Maybe Markets Field the new home for the Lims is giving this initial eleven a sort of motivation or push for their follower’s sake, to salvage this campaign as well return next campaign to Ireland’s version of its Premiership.

Still with matches pending with Bray Wanderers, Galway United Derry City and Sligo can prove an opportunity knocking in the doors of Manager Martin Russell squad as well use it as an escape from the abyss they are immersed in.

But at the end squad’s in the likes of league leader Dundalk and Shamrock Rovers being in their destinies anything can happen as the Lilywhites and Hoops can get a bit of a surprise from these Super Blues.

Playing with an ambition and putting their rule in the field of play this squad can really surprise the living daylights of everyone in the Airtricity League of Ireland, keep it up Super Blues!
