Dundalk keeps winning and a grand attendance in the recap of the LOI

The Dublin Derby became the highlight of this weekend, with a sold out attendance and finally a win of the home side, with the Shamrock Rovers shaking off the dominance the Bohs had on them since last season.

In another match were the Dundalk side won it with a rout over troubled and posible relegation candidate UCD at the Bowl, in other results, City losing to Sligo and Waterford drawing at home.

RSC was the site were their troubled Blues earned an important point over the visiting Candystripes after the visitors opened the scoreboard early in the match.

With a goal from Junior Uzokwe in the 11' minute put the Candystripes ahead and looking forward to a valuable win on the road but until Blues Michael O' Connor scored 43' minute.


Waterford 1-1 Derry City

Back in Turner's Cross the local Rebel Army could take advantage as locals with a loss against the visiting Sligo Rovers, as the Rovers Romeo Parkes and Ronan Coughlan delivered a brace.

For Romeo Parke's scoring in the 31' and 61' and Ronan Coughlan 43' and 85', for the Leesiders Dan Casey 33' and Shane Griffin 72' scored for the losing cause.


Cork City 2-4 Sligo Rovers

The Town Boys came to the Bowl looking to extend their winning streak and lead over the Hoops being within four points of the defending champions.

As the Lilywhites Daniel Cleary scoring a brace in the 13' and 90', followed by Sean Hoare 17', Michael Duffy 70' and Georgie Kelly 90', in a rout over troubled Students, heading to relegation.

UCD 0-5 Dundalk

In Dublin once again the always celebrated and contested Dublin Derby were the visiting Bohs had  the upper hand in the series over their arch rivals the Shamrock Rovers, since last season.

Another win over the Hoops and the Gypsies would be seen as these having the upper hand over the Rovers, but in the first half with a score by Graham Burke 26' was enough for the win.

However, the headline for this match was the total sold out attendance in Tallaght with a record 7,020 on hand to witness an amazing and contested game since its beginning till its end.
