The League of Ireland return to full action on Friday night,
this week matches with three draws and two winners in Sligo and Dundalk that
does not stop its winning ways and closing in another consecutive league title.
With UCD sentencing its downfall with another loss and
nothing the Students can do to stop their downfall as for the Harps readying
for the playoffs, with their continuance in the top circuit on hold.
In the Dublin Derby both Shamrock Rovers and Saint
Patrick’s Athletic share the spoils with a scoreless draw at Tallaght as one
point was not in the Hoops Stephen Bradley plans.

In Ryan McBride Stadium Brandywell, the local Candystripes
and the visiting Dublin Boys went scoreless and had their share of points with another
match ending a scoreless draw.

Another match that ended in a draw, was in Turner’s Cross
between Cork City and the visiting Finn Harps, as both sides settle for the
share of points, as every point for Harps was somehow beneficial.

In the Dublin Bowl the local UCD Boys were looking at any
cost for a win that can keep them afloat in their quest for salvation, as a
miracle somehow can be in the works for the Students and this will not happen
anytime.
With an OG from UCD Keeper Conor Kearns sentenced his
side to their doom if not relegation in the first half the visiting Sligo Boys playing
with just ten men, Romeo Parkes score seal the deal in the 45’.

In the RSC of Waterford, the Blues had a match against Dundalk
as the Lilywhites are heading into their consecutive league title and so far,
looking to be heading for their third trophy in this season.
As the Town via Daniel Kelly showing off a sensational campaign
winning several recognition's, the man lonely goal of the match in the 38’ was
enough to seal the deal and for Dundalk.
