A win is a win and
with a couple of strikes from one of Portland’s Andean striker in Maxi Urruti,
that became the icing on the cake for the Rose City Bhoys!
After going against adversity
and having some of their key players in the DL list, Manager Porter really
focused his initial eleven to form an all-around pressure and attack on the
always difficult New York Red Bulls.

Still the Timbers are
given a shoot of optimism ahead of their mid-week match at the city of Angels
and by traveling coast to coast, their match against Chivas USA will be a test
of skills as well top notch condition to net a possible back to back wins.
I do credit these
squad ultimate heroics and pulling those games out of those squad’s sleeves at the
last minute, thanks to their pair of Argentinian strikers in Gaston Fernandez and
Maxi Urruti coming always to the rescue.
And with a campaign
in full swing, it looks like Manager Porter is seeing a tough agenda ahead of
every match, as every one of his players are showing off certain readiness, to
become a part of that initial eleven as well prime time.

With a little more
ambition and hunger for the game, the Portland Timbers are looking ahead of
this sudden surge, to climb for the top of the Western Division as well placed
themselves in the always sought top five positions.
That at the end will
mean a place in the always coveted League Postseason, were the Portland Bhoys
have the team and skills to reach into the finals: but for now Manager Caleb
Porter will focus in his next strategy as well initial eleven to front any of
his squad upcoming challenges, go Timbers.
If I Root, I Root for
the Timbers!
