Candidates for English Premier League Manager Of The Year Award

Let’s start with these foursome chaps, who deserve the ultimate of recognitions for their all-around efforts and wisdom, which uplifted their squads into the league spotlight.

In this piece I will expose four Managers that really showed a turnaround in their squad’s performance, respect, contenders and generating a revival in its game.

I do acknowledge this fellow’s, distinct and classy moves that really put on a performance for its squad’s and gave their followers a reason to dream of a shield campaign.

Also credit their extra human efforts in turning things around with their respective squad’s, that really gave a credible and dignified spectacle in every matched played.

Starting with a man that started a revival at Saint Mary’s Mauricio Pochettino, who brought back this squad respect- this came after their first year of promotion, this squad suddenly was destined for relegation.

After rescuing Southampton from the gates of hell, this Andean Manager not only brought this club’s lost confidence, but made them into an all-around contender and by seating pretty in eight place in the English Premier League.

Considered as an achievement for a club limited in its resources and cannot bring big names to really contend against the league titans, for the Saints wonderful campaign earned them the attention of several big clubs.

This chap has brought the attention of several big clubs in Premiership for some of his players but as well some squads are putting into their radar the name of Mauricio Pochettino’s to be their man at the helm.

Second in my list comes a man with a modest history in its Managerial career that the directives of this London based club, never imagined, how will its new man at the helm would perform under such pressure.

Indeed, Crystal Palace after its first year in Premiership from promotion, as every squad in this situation becomes embroiled in the nasty relegation; suddenly one chap that turned this squad destiny around, into contention and as a spoiler.

So far the High soaring Eagles have accumulated a winning record under Tony Pulis who has revived these squad ambitions and placed them far away from the danger zone, and into eleventh position and still fighting to climb the overall table.

Merseyside Brendan Rodgers and his Liverpool Reds, not only came o their senses of playing a dream of a campaign but contend for the title that still in the air after that dreadful result at Selhurst Park.

Still this chap has turned things around at Anfield and made several undesirable players into gentlemen in the field, which gave the Reds an almost picture perfect campaign.

Barclay's Shield or not, this North Irish Manager should be considered among the nominees for such distinctive award for his stellar and grand campaign, offered by its Liverpool Reds, that at the end were the sentimental favorites to win it all, until their London meltdown!

Lastly is the Argentine Sir in Manuel Pellegrini, who brought discipline and seriousness to Etihad’s chaps, inheriting a star plagued squad, Pellegrini really needed to polish up his diamonds in the rough!

Not even, undisciplined indeed, were the way the Man- City chaps were performing in the field and not presenting an order as the one brought by this Andean whiz that really turned things around in the other side of Manchester.

With the table set and everything going in the Citizens way Pellegrini can bring in next Sunday’s match their second shield in this campaign, being his first- very well this man brought respect to this squad and image of a contender and not as the second squad from Manchester.

Mauricio Pocchettino turned things around at Saint Mary’s,  Tony Pulis not only made his club a survivor but a spoiler, Brendan Rodgers really turned things around at Anfield and lastly the Citizens Manuel Pellegrini restoring order, pride and respect to this entity.

Who will it be, as I mentioned you before this list is my personal and represents the ideal candidates for their efforts and hard work that delivered a real satisfactions to its followers and the spectacle itself.
