One afternoon filled
with high intensity and spectacular football is what the folks from Emirates witnessed,
after their Gunners initial eleven performed an unforgettable match.
For United coming
from a good winning form, this match really left us with the conclusion that nobody’s
perfect and you have to play with a will to win it all.
As many state that there’s
no such thing as an easy foe and the Gunners and Red Devils were very even as
they state in boxing pound per pound or by its position, which this time the
better squad was the victor at the end.
With an inspired
Alexis Sanchez who netted a double and a Mesut Ozil on target, the Arsenal Boys
really did the ultimate of efforts and silence what many started to see in United’s
return to its old glories.
Not today as the Gunners
are looking to rekindle their own share of those past glorious days as their
Boss Arsene Wegner is really looking to net a Barclay’s Shield this campaign without
recurring to expensive signing’s and giving its current squad a vote of
confidence.
This squad with no
doubt netted an important win and moved even with this victory in the overall
table tied at second with Manu and within two points of first place Man City
that claimed the top spot after United’s loss.
So far this win
places the Gunners in a very promising spot that with a continuance of this positive
streak, maybe the Londoner’s can take over
the league top, with a falter from the Citizens that are too very vulnerable.
Nothing is written in
this edition of Premiership and the top
being still in the air and with no squad claiming it with authority, this campaign
can be a very contested one and so far there’s nothing written for anyone.
Still we have quite a
ways in this campaign and we have to see how will it fold and in favor of what squad
looking to break the always familiar look of the Barclays Shield of the likes
of Chelsea Man City lately.
This is it for
Arsenals chaps to break this shield curse for these squads always in its
spotlight and for Arsenal’s boss Arsene Wegner he can bring his dreamed of a
Barclays Shield once again during his tenure at Emirates.
What a win this
weekend and achievement for the Arsenal squad after a very convincing and much
heralded win at Emirates that really put a dent the visiting squad and a much
shoot of optimism ahead for the inspired Gunners masterful of performance’s.
