Yes, it was one
awesome and one of a kind revival staged by the Boys from the Toon, who really
showed off their mettle and finally started taking things more seriously.
Finally, for first
year Newcastle United Boss Steve Mc Claren, he finally can see a bit of light
at the end of the tunnel, after staging a series of odd results for his squad since
the start of this campaign.
With his first win and
showing off displays of an offensive
might over newly promoted Norwich City squad, seeing a bit of success of its
own and far from the bottom three spots, in today’s match all of a sudden the Canaries
defense hit rock bottom.
As this campaign is putting
in evidence a lack of will and ambitions from both Tyne Daly squads, fighting for
their survival was not imaginable and foreseen by many of its followers in St.
James Park and the Stadium of Light.
Today display of offensive
might saw in the field an inspired Newcastle United initial eleven that made an
all-around statement in their quest of salvaging their campaign and making a
run to the top of the league spots.
Awakened by new hopes
and possibly the new era of Manager Mc Claren will finally start making its
mark and showing off its might in an effort to rebuild and make a contender out
of his Magpies looking desperately to renew their old glories.
Very well, start playing
a more serious football in their quest to start looking for better horizons and
fight not for their survival to stay in Premiership but to seek possibly the
European spots coveted by many of their Premiership competitors.
As this campaign all
of a sudden is starting to take off in what many are seeing, a contested and
much disputed in its upcoming matches that for the followers of NU will see
finally a squad playing as a hardened entity.
Along of staging a
long sought comeback in order to compete for shields and stay away from the nightmarish
relegation spots, compete as they way its owner Mike Ashley envisioned, and
suffered from last campaign no so pleasant experiences.
Still the fight
staged by an inspired Giorgino Wijnaldum who score a foursome accompanied by
Ayotze Perez and Alehsander Mitrovic that were in charge of staging an eight
goal match with a Canary response of two goals.
Finally, the Magpies
bench finally saw a man in its helm along his coaches and players smile after
weeks of agony and despair of not seeing clearly what direction Newcastle
United was heading after the series of odd results experienced.
I hope that this win
can ignite a certain recovery and start a series of certain positives in Tyne
Daly's Toon Army desperately seeking to leave the relegation spots and start a
new chapter in this edition of Premiership.
