It Will not Come Easy for the PTFC

It looks that the defending Major League Soccer champions will be looking ahead of a much interesting and competed 2016 campaign.

Nothing will come easy for the Timbers this 2016, one by being the squad to beat and the other many challenges and competitions they will have to encounter throughout in what many see a much disputed edition.

Despite the many challenges ahead for the Portland Boys, being one of their main concerns for them is to be performing as a championship squad.

Very well play as a team and not depend on three or four of their men when you have a top of the line- initial eleven and show off a lot more ambition through the whole ninety minutes of play and not at its end.

Not all the matches for the Rose City Boys will be like their opening day one that they showed off certain dominance in what many dubbed this game as a rematch against the Columbus Crew.

Still the performance given by the PTFC during opening days against their MLS Final foes and many calling it as a rematch, the Rose City squad once again prevailed despite the push of the Crew and did it with a score already familiar between these squads.

That was then and now is a different story, with a couple of matches that put in evidence some problems in the Timbers offense as well its defensive backfield; here is when their Manager will be in the task of making his signature moves.

Something that the Timbers Boss is well known to perform with his squad when the going gets a bit rough for him and his Boys- and although many of the fans are familiar with this club struggles at the beginning of every single campaign.

The man can really use his magic and moves in his lineups, as he was a consummated Cheesmaster.

This week featured a resilient and at times tricky Real Salt Lake making in their quest of making a mockery of the PTFC and showing off their rivalry that so far has resulted in every one of their much-disputed matches.

The way the Timbers played a sort of cry baby squad in the RSL who really came determined to play  aggressively and showed off  a tough game, which deterred the Timbers all around dynamic attack in the offense along of surprising their backfield with a couple of scores.

Indeed if you say that this campaign will be one of many trials for the Providence Park Boys, not only will key players in the disabled list that deter this squad surge, also the call-ups of several of them to their national squads.

Heading the list Darlington Nagbe with Team USA, Adam Kwarsey- Ghana, Darren Mattocks, Alvas Powell and Jermaine Taylor with Jamaica and lastly Faneando Adi with Nigeria.

As right you are, by these players during their international compromises, Caleb porter for sure is working on a plan B to continue his march in  this campaign that doesn’t look like and easy one but not difficult at the end.

Something already envisioned by its man at the helm and already working on finding the right solutions, still the arrival of Darren Mattocks from Vancouver and Jack Burmby from Leicester City opens the doors for a much better outlook at the end of this campaign.

With plenty of work and patience, the PTFC Might once again will shine and will give up many satisfactions that at the end this club will deliver many satisfactions.
