The Swans near upset

A new era under Bob Bradley as the Boss of the Swans, has started, after the top brass of this Welsh entity decided to make changes for the best.

As the former USMNT Manager, getting the nod after a field of several qualified chaps for the job, the Yank became one of these club utmost selections by its top brass to get things moving at Liberty Stadium.

With Francesco Guidolin leaving everything in disarray, the task and challenges ahead for Bradley at the helm of this historic club look a bit tough and difficult to overcome.

After an international break, the return of hostilities in all the world leagues and especially the English Premier League saw how many squads started a bit resilient as the case of the Swans today playing as a visitor in the always difficult Emirates Stadium.

Nothing to fear for the locals, as the Gunners were ready to continue their ascent into the league top spots and trying to take advantage of the near stumble by Man City just drawing at Goodison Park and leaving many possibilities open at the top.

Still in the eyes and minds of the Gunners, one playing as local and against a weak foe, everything was going to be a walk in the park for the lads managed by Arsene Wegner as well what would a Yank with no CV or history of accomplishments possibly offer.

After an early dominance by the Arsenal gang and several attempts into the Swans posts defended frantically by Lukasz Fabiansky, however Bob Bradley instituted a very defensive formation with a midfield being as creative offensively but reinforcing its backfield defensively.

Looking a bit positive and with some hopes of putting an end the Swans defensive woes.
Especially with the guns the Emirates Boys and Manager Wegner displaying a 4-3-2-1 formation sending a couple of wingers in his young one Alex Iwobi and experienced Mesul Ozil to accompany their lone striker Alexis Sanchez.

As the Arsenal gang started their push into the confines of the Swans posts, these started a sort of showing off a fancy footwork product of their confidence and with no contemplation's to their rival not taken at all seriously.

It is when the Gunners before many tries to penetrate their foes nets, came a very beautiful play like those made in practice or put in practice after maybe seeing it in paper or video games by Wegner’s chaps.

As the long midfield pass in the Gunners counter attack saw a elevated volley ended up in Theo Walcott’s feet for the opening lead and seven minutes later he repeats the dose after a stumble by the Swans keeper for the 2-0.

Seeing a possible one sided affair for Arsene Wegner and his initial eleven in the whole match, this did not lasted too long when the visitors five minutes later with their star in Gylfy Sigurdsson scored and leaving the scores at 2-1 going into the half.

Still the beat did not stop completely for the North London Boys seeking another attack and looking for another score, Mesut Ozil made his presence seen in a immediate way with a nice shoot that beat the Swans keeper for the go ahead goal.

The buck was not over for the visitors and their push continue ahead the Gunners defensive, until a cannon of a shoot beat Petr Cech completely for the 2-1 thanks to substitute Borja Baston who came as a change in the 60th and six minutes later he did not let his Boss down.

Very well the Gunners in one time enjoying a lead they were on the brink of a disastrous afternoon when their star midfielder Granit Xhaka saw the red card after a flagrant foul over Swansea’s Modou Barrow in the 70th minute.

Still the Welsh squad despite their pressure and sudden emergence as an underdog they turned the tables over their hosts and gave them a scare and with ten men in left, the Arsenal Boys did managed to survive their visitors push.

At the end, the Swans just need a break and with today’s exhibition, maybe this club under Bob Bradley can put this club ahead of the relegation posts and make a decorous s run at the end of this campaign without worrying of going down.

For the new man at the helm of Swansea Bob Bradley so close but no cigar at the end, but the man shows off a promising start and despite the loss this club is looking a bit resilient and looking forward to an all-around revival.
