Wales Losing ground and hurting its chances

Too comfortable is the right word that describes a laid-back Wales National squad by its Boss Chris Coleman after this weekend of play in the World Cup qualifiers and netting not so positive results.

With back-to-back draws with squads not really known to have a hardened stance and to display a one of a kind football, in its last two matches against Austria and Georgia, the Dragons just netted two points out of six in play.

This lead to a Republic of Ireland taking over second place by just a percentage difference over Serbia as both squads tied with seven points each atop their group.

Something that made manager Coleman a bit furious and frustrated of how his squad suddenly started playing a bit lose and the consequences that brought his squad, now placed in third place with just five points.

As the Welsh started with a laborious and complicated 3-4-2-1 formation sending a lone striker in Sam Vokes and accompanied by Wales Talisman Gareth Bale and Andy King, giving an edge to the Dragons tactically over their foes.

Considered as an easy affair for the Welsh, still these should not count their chickens before they hatch, as the Georgians coming from a defeat from across the channel from the Green Army, playing as locals the Dragons could draw the easy win.

So far, this draw puts the Dragons in a dire situation, especially when they face in November a very strong Serbian National squad and a loss or tie will be a bit disastrous for Chris Coleman and his chaps.

Still the road to Russia seems to be a bit complicated and not as easy as their performances in the qualifiers that gave them a direct pass to this past Euro, were they did perform wonders and showing off their mettle.

With both Joe Allen and Aaron Ramsey not seen in the lineup, these two considered vital absences for the Dragons, despite having a one of kind performances in their last matches, still the presence of these two indeed felt very heavily in the lineup.

Leaving their squad a bit clueless and with no prospects of putting on a fine display whenever these two are on the lineup.

As Wales opened the hostilities with an early goal from their Talisman in Gareth Bale in the 10th minute, sending the whole of Cardiff into frenzy and heading in what seemed an easy victory and scoring three points of gold.

That at the end did not worked out for the locals that saw their first half dominance turned into a sour and tough fight uphill to prevent the visiting Georgians of making a mockery out of their defensive backfield.

This in part to a very avid and astute keeper in the Dragons Wayne Hennessey who had a field day and stopped the Georgian striker’s cold until that fatidic play from Tornike Okriashvili to put the score even and the visitors playing the role of spoilers.

At the end the Welsh Dragons are in need of precious wins as well points, their last match of the year against the first place Serbia will be define their outcome and future as 2017 these play tier first match against the Republic of Ireland at Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
