Eddie Howe is one
happy and proud chap, after his group did the unthinkable of spoiling the title
race for the Liverpool Reds and derailing for their Boss Jürgen Klopp his plans,
with a come from behind win at home.
At least temporarily,
as the visiting Reds will have to figure a way of not letting go a comfortable
score worthy of a win after dominating the match in its majority, to let his
group guard down, and underestimate their foes.
As I always state,
that there is no such thing than an easy foe.
This was the case of
the Bournemouth Bunch that supported with the chants of their faithful and
motivated by a man in the sides that never stopped believing in his initials
eleven, all of a sudden, Vitality Stadium went into frenzy.
Very well, the
Cherries scored a very important win over an elite squad, fighting for its way into
the league shield and looking to finish strong in this campaign.
With many situating
this man one day into the helm of the Three Lions squads and seen as a promise
due to his push and dynamic he brings to his squad into the field.
I can say that the
unthinkable of rallying from a two goal deficit and sealing it with style and
bringing back memories of great players long ago in Frank Rijkaard and Rudd Gullit
once again reincarnating in Nathan Ake
who never hesitated for the opportunity and scoring the game winner.
Very well, the
southern coast club that demonstrated that they could put themselves in the
same levels of the so-called giants of Premiership and today's win really
injects a lot of optimism ahead for this club.
In their last five
matches the AFC squad has lost to the likes of Arsenal, Boro and Sunderland and
with wins over Stoke City and now Liverpool situates this squad in a good position in the overall table as well maybe this can be motivation to show off
more consistency in their game.
In the need of an important win, meaning for the Clarets putting an
end to their losing streak and for the Cherries netting back-to-back wins.
Still the Cherries
are situated in a good position in the overall table, with eighteen points and
in tenth place, this is not seal as they have a seven point cushion over their
closest chaser situated in the cellar in Sunderland.
As always, the league
seen once again as one contested entity not only at the top but also in all of its
positions and squads fighting their way up and not be in the infamous three
spots of relegation.
This is something the
AFC Boys are fighting for, looking forward to make a bold move in the table and
maybe be fighting in the second half for a European spot, instead of fighting
for their permanency at its end.
For now the ideals
and goals, set by Manager Eddie Howe will be putting on a fight till the end of
this campaign with his Boys, very well his continuance of developing his academy
and try to give his young lads more opportunities.
In the case of this
weekend hero Daniel Ake the loaned defender from Chelsea, making his case and
squad starting eleven for Bournemouth but the catch now if this chap continues
his ascent, maybe the Blues Boss can recall him to join him at Stamford Bridge.
To conclude, this
edition of Premiership I must say, that is as contested as always, as many of
us follow it course in the top four squads, now we will be seeing it in this
middle and bottom of whom at the end can go down and who will prevail.
In the case of the
AFC Bournemouth, I do believe in a young squad achievements that at the end
will deliver many positives into its enormous fan base and satisfy its man at
the helm.
To see the light of seeing his squad returning to the Premiership circuit next campaign.
To see the light of seeing his squad returning to the Premiership circuit next campaign.
A perseverant squad
and a one of a kid win highlighted this week’s Premiership in its lucky thirteenth
edition that saw how a small squad overcome the odds and match to deliver a
blow to a unbeatable Liverpool.
