An amazing Riverside win

A win with the taste of salvation, is what the Boys from Boro, delivered today at the colossus of North Yorkshire, were their position near the relegation spots was nearing and these were in need of a must win.

Still their performance was not bad, after a notable and comfortable win over a persistent Swansea squad that lately has been playing with the desires of exiting the infamous relegation spots.

With the Smoggies feeling a treat and harassed lately by the Swans and Black Cats, these performing and delivering some wins, the pressure by the Yorkshire residents was felt heavily, so today’s match was a show of will and endurance.

A one of a kind afternoon of amazing football and a clean sheet that Aitor Karkanka squad delivered to its followers at home, very well put a cushion of four points away from their closest chaser from  the league abyss.

An afternoon were Middleborough deliver and put on a show for its faithful at Riverside Stadium that show off a near sold out and these put on an offensive barrage over the siting Swans.

Especially with an inspired Spaniard striker in Alvaro Negredo, who dispatched himself with a couple of scores in the 18th and 29th via a penal and later Marten de Roon who sentenced the match in the 58th minute.

This comes with a very ambitious 4-3-3 formation sent by the Boro Boss sending three forwards in Alvaro Negredo, Gaston Ramirez and Viktor Fischer, these three made a living hell to the visitor’s backfield, the whole afternoon.

Very well seeing an extraordinary performance by the Boro backfield that limited the Welsh eleven to just a couple of shoots on target, despite putting more shoots over the locals, but these match was to be for the natives hogging all of the opportunities.

An important win with a match considered as vital and important against Burnley at Turf Moor, as Sean Dyche squad is in need of adding points for his Clarets and maybe the Middleborough squad will have its hands full.

As they state that, there is no such thing than an easy foe!

Despite the win, Boro Boss Aitor Karanka, which has the responsibility of delivering at least the permanency of his squad in the maximum circuit, considering the need of more work ahead for the Smoggies as one of its utmost priorities.

The panorama look tough but not difficult for Middleborough, that really needs to focus in tier upcoming matches and not take its foes lightly but play them as these were playing a sort of final, not underestimating them as an easy prey.

The needs to close this first half of Premiership with some wins is an important enterprise for this squad looking forward to more time in the top flight and recover its lost glories they once enjoyed before their relegation.

As Manager Karanka will see in the end what are his necessities and if the club top brass will deliver with a couple or more reinforcements to complement his work here in Yorkshire and make a run to the league middle table or higher.

So far the Boro squad has delivered seven points out of fifteen in play with a couple of wins and a draw, but this is not over yet and the need of this squad permanence will depend on their consistent desire to exhibit a one of a kind football.

Like the one, they performed today with a total dominance over its foes and never gave up on their desire to score and net the win, this squad all around ambition will be the difference maker at the end and return once again to the big fete of Premiership.
