A Worn out Entity Felt at Etihad

The almighty Citizens aren’t playing lately as a contender squad, after its players are feeling the strains of a Premiership rough and lengthy schedule.

On this weekend Merseyside Derby loss to a whole – hearted Liverpool chaps, that these latter ones are playing a one of a kind football, regardless of the agenda.

For the Sky Blues as heartless and lacking of interest performances, which are becoming a sort of irritation on its skipper and followers alike.

After showing an all-around fight throughout the whole campaign, suddenly Manager Manuel Pellegrini is seeing a strain in its player’s game as well title ambitions.

Mental and physical fatigues are playing a role that’s starting to see their hopes to fight for a chance for the top as well get into the race for the Barclay’s Premiership Shield.

As many of the Citizens followers are asking questions about their squad possible fiasco with just five matches left in the campaign and with compromises pending.

Indeed, this campaign doesn’t look a bit enticing for the Sky Blues hopes for netting a title to its halls at Etihad Stadium in this last run of the EPL.

It’s sad to see a squad known for its highest level of competition and once being among the favorites to win the league alongside with Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton.

Suddenly the Citizens are following the steps of a dull Arsenal Gunner squad that saw its fortunes went down the tubes after losing the top position held at the majority of this campaign and now are fighting for a fourth spot.

With a calendar as many will call it as easy but in the eyes of its Manager, there’s no such thing as an easy foe in this competed edition of Premiership.

In today’s match were their rival in turn is destined for the infamous relegation zone, the Citizens defensive side was absent and caught unaware of  the fury of a performance from Sunderland’s Connor Wickham's double.

Upsetting and frustrating when it counts the most for the Man City lads of playing a brilliant football and wait its rivals atop them in the Blues and Reds a mishap to make their one and only move.

Still in the upcoming schedule Pellegrini and his chaps shouldn’t leave their guard down on any of their rivals in turn regardless of their position in the table as none of them will be an easy prey of their overconfidence and lack of good game.
