An everlasting effort
is what Tommy Breslin chaps are showing in every match played, as well a very
heated competition being seen in the final stages of the North Ireland Premier
League.
Convincingly this
squad is becoming a force not to reckon with, as their latest victims in the so
called Belfast Derby, after defeating an inoperative local squad in the Linfield
Blues.
Last campaign
reigning 2012-13 edition champions, suddenly moved atop the overall table, with
a way of playing like there’s no tomorrow, very well add another shield to their
trophy case at Solitude Stadium.
Still four matches
left in the North Ireland Premiership, which anything can happen between these
dates and between the Reds and Blues.
In a match were the
Reds weren’t intimidated, but motivated by getting the upper hand in doing the
feat at the home of the Blues, considered one of the winningest squads in North
Ireland football.
Silencing a venue
known as raucous and difficult as many know Windsor Park, Breslin lads did an all-around
exploit of their determination to earn the win!
By reaching their goals
of repeating as champions again, this shield can be their fifth in the club’s
history as well their first time in doing in it in a repetitive act.
For now Manager Tommy
Breslin and his Reds need to focus in the upcoming matches, which are crucial
for their quest of becoming champions in this edition of the NIPL.
With squads in their
schedule as Glentoran, Glenavon, Portadown and Crusaders in their way; very
well seen as not so easy opponents, the Reds will have their work cut out,
still they can demonstrate in the field what they’re are made of as well their
mettle.
On the opposing side the
Linfield Blues sudden difficulty in maintain their dominance in the NIPL as in
old times, is becoming evidently in every campaign, not only for the Cliftonville
Reds- but for the Crusaders, Portadown as well Glenavon and Glentoran becoming as
competitive and uplifting this league.
So far Cliftonville
has something to show off in the top scorers table with Joe Gormley in the top
with 25 goals scored and in third position his teammate in Liam Boyce with 21
goals, leading the league.
At the end good strategy,
spirit and one of a kind ambition is what can make this Cliftonville squad
prevail in the long run as well earned them the coveted NIPL Shield, as their one
point lead won’t be sufficient to maintain their ground in the table.
