Welcome Back Leicester City to Premiership

How sweet it is to finish atop your league, alongside a promotion, with an opportunity to perform against the big bhoys of the English Premier League.

By defeating an erratic Sheffield Wednesday for the minimum difference of one goal along Queens Park Rangers and Derby’s defeats, that opened the door to City’s return to England’s maximum football circuit.

This is the case of the chaps of Leicester City who did the feat of finishing first, thanks to its closest rival’s odd results, earning them the top honors of the Championship League.

As third year Manager Nigel Pearson sees it as another challenge ahead for his City crew, to maintain a successful run and prevent an all-around debacle of returning to the relegation zone on their first year run, off course!

Ten years passed for the Foxes to return to the big tent, were its skipper assure there won’t be a shuffle in his squad to be competitive in the EPL.

It looks like King Power Stadium will blossom again as a prime venue to follow the best football matches of the planet as well its fans to glimpse a one of a kind spectacle in the field courtesy of their City Chaps.

Starting with their prime time goalie and soon to make headlines in Premiership, Kasper Schmeichel, the son of that legendary goalie in Manchester United Peter Schmeichel, City will have some insurance under its posts.

With England’s once top scorer and prominent legend Gary Lineker who couldn’t hide his joy after seeing his old club earning a direct promotion and overall achievement.

For now the Foxes enjoy a 10 point lead over second place Burnley who drew in their last match, still their mission has been accomplished and now the Foxes front office will have to focus in reinforcing the squad weak spots to front their next mission in the EPL.

Six matches prevent them to lift the always coveted Championship shields that will adorn the halls of Filbert Way and become another shield in their history to add to its trophy case.

Good show lads and congratulation on a job well done, on the upcoming 2014-15 campaign will be a test of your mettle and spirits as well a new contest to beat, well done chaps.
