The arrival of Ronnie
Koeman at Goodison Park became a welcome sight for many of the Everton faithful,
these looking forward to see their club aspire in this campaign for a chance to
run for the league shield.
So far witnessing an
amazing start for the School of Science, with 38 years not witnessing a
triumphant run without seeing a single defeat and for Gareth Barry celebrating
a milestone with his 600th career match played in Premiership.
We can state for sure
that became the icing on the cake.
Still for the native
of the Netherlands’, the Blues Boss stated humbly that it would be madness to
think of netting the league shield, seeing it in his realistic point of view.
As the former Barza
great and the Dutch national team former defender, his 4-3-2-1 formation is
working wonders for him as well in his paramount striker in Romelu Lukaku who
is on his way of putting a banner of a campaign.
Despite the near
perfect campaign his squad is displaying, it does not mean that they have won
everything as well getting ready for their EFL and FA Cups upcoming compromises,
for the Toffees, as this club-amazing run continues until the end.
A European position
maybe in their horizon, but for now they just are focusing one match at a time
and seeing a continuance of their wondrous campaign, many good things will
happen to this club in need of a shield.
Another goal for
Manager Koeman will be keeping the majority of his players that always are the
targets of the other so-called big clubs, luring the Toffees players to their
entities for the promise of a big pay as well a much better finish.
After their draw on
their first match at home in Goodison Park against Tottenham, the Toffees have won back to back matches against
West Brom, Stoke City, Sunderland and in the past weekend over Middleborough.
The Koeman all around
revolution is on at Goodison Park and these parts of Liverpool – Walton with
his Blues, even though for the Dutch Boss is a realistic about a possible
pennant run, at the end it won discard it if his squad continuance of
displaying its new football.
At the end, you never
know what will this edition of Premiership will surprise us with, once again
will be living up with another fairy tale of campaign for another of the so
called small entities, I don’t discard Everton of putting on a show and a
premier campaign.
