You never forget your
first, as the Welsh Dragons are looking very contentious once again; as they
are looking like all around contenders in their quest of assuring a spot for Russia
2018.
Once again, the Wales’s
squad will become the darling in the qualifiers, after becoming the surprise squad
in the past Euro tournament finishing in semifinals.
For the Welsh squad
Boss Chris Coleman- the qualifiers will be an encore of their achievements that
netted them a direct ticket to their first Euros and were they put on a show
and now they can be on the verge of doing another repeat.
So far the Welsh squad
in the Coleman era netted its first ever Euro and now the goal for the Dragons
Manager of delivering back-to-back performances in prime time tournaments and
doing the miracle once again to take them
to their second World Cup.
Still the road to Siberia
is paved with lots of obstacles and seeded in Group D- the Welsh Dragons will
have to battle squads known for their belligerence in Serbia, Austria and the
Republic of Ireland along with Moldova and Georgia considered as the easy ones.
More always stated by
me, there is no such thing than an easy foe.
Opening at home with
a win became the perfect ingredient for the Welsh squad to have a continuance in
its amazing and dynamic game that so far lauded as a one of a kind, indeed a
tough outing going to Vienna and play a renewed thanks to its player’s efforts and their top
of the line game.
By far being
fortunate to open at home at City Stadium at Cardiff City, and netting in what looked
an easy win, the next matches for the Welsh squad filled with lots of
challenges.
Manager Chris Coleman
and his chap’s next outing to play as an away squad at Vienna and later two at
home against Georgia and then Serbia to close this 2016. Returning to action in
2017 the Dragons will be opening away at always-difficult Aviva Stadium at
Dublin and face a belligerent Green Army and then going to Belgrade and face a
tough Serbian Eagles squad.
This squad will have
its hands full in what seems a difficult endeavor but not an impossible one
with the attitude and drive these group has and showing off their spirit in
each match.
Going back to their amazing
performance at Cardiff City, the Dragons with their usual arsenal in Gareth
Bale, Joe Allen, Aaron Ramsay and Wayne Hennessey to mention a few, for the Real
Madrid operates his contributions to his squad are golden.
On this match, Boss Chris
Coleman sent a very conservative 3-4-2-1 formation sending Sam Vokes as a lone striker
accompanied in the flanks by Gareth Bale and Andy King to try to destabilize
the Moldovan defensive shield.
With Sam Vokes
opening the score in the 38th, Joe Allen in the 44th, the
Welsh Boys were up on the scoreboard in the first half, returning in the second
with a double from Gareth Bale in the 50th minute and via a penal on
injury time ion the 95th.
This win assures the Welsh
atop their Group with three points along with the Austrians, with the competition
just getting warmer, their next match at Vienna on October 6 will be their
first test, and a win definitely will put the Dragon in sole possession of
first place.
As the magic
continues for the Wales National squad, their Boss aims are to make it all the
way to Mother Russia and once gains put up high the name of the Tîm pêl-droed cenedlaethol Cymru with
their amazing and one of a kind display of top of the line football.
