Chelsea looking to return to its old winning ways

I doubt the Blues can make a run to the league top with some of its notable players looking to make an exodus from Stamford Bridge. On the eve of Maurizio Sarri era, taking over Antonio Conte who delivered a league and FA shield to the Pensioners halls.

So far, in the campaign the likes of Sarri and Jorginho coming to London Town on a rare swap, looking like that will be the only player to come to this club seeing a total indifference by its owner not making any move in the transfers market.

As the rumors, increase from the Pensioners to lure certain number of players to these parts of Fulham, the negotiations between Manu for Willian looks a bit advanced but not confirmed of his pass to Trafford as well Thibaut Courtois looking forward to leave to Madrid.

In addition, of Eden hazard putting his Real Madrid move aside, now he has to focus on the upcoming campaign with the Blues, still in the waves the rumor for Dortmund Christian Pulisic, Bernard and Palace opening up a bid of £75 million for Wilfred Zaha. As the Selhurst entity hinting that an amount mentioned these are willing to sacrifice and sell their star player to Chelsea.

As the rumors becoming more real in signing of Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga as the Basque team is looking to get a payment of €80 million of Euros for this super player, still this is to confirm as the Courtois interest to play in Bernabeu increases.

Before Thursday deadline for the close of the transfers market there is a possibility of newcomer Maurizio Sarri of getting a new player to front in what seems to be another contested campaign in Premiership.

My hesitation to have certain interrogatives over this famed club had, despite brining a proven Winner in manager Sarri, the sloppiness and lack of interest seen from some players in the Community Shield shows the level of difficulty the Italian will have to deal all campaign long.

Exposing a team lacking defensive depth after David Luis struggled to keep tab absent Riyad Mahrez, a struggling Cesar Azpilicueta in the right and a deficient and undependable Alvaro Morata not making the impact desired.

After the rumors of Gonzalo Higuain coming to Stamford Bridge became just a mirage despite the interest of Maurizio Sarri looking forward to lure him to England’s top association as well looking for someone to ignite his offensive attack.

For Chelsea to return to its winning ways and league dominance will somehow be an all-around challenge for the Italian looking to maintain his squad with its lack of new signings and impact players to keep close competition with the likes of Manu, Liverpool, Tottenham and especially Man City.

How can a club with one of the top rated of academies cannot keep some of its players and develop them in the big club instead of lending them to other squads as many of its followers ask themselves why?

Still for Chelsea this campaign, I doubt if they do not make it into the top five spots fighting for European spots and looking forward to a repeat in the FA Cup as defending champions as well look for the EFL Cup and a spot in the stages group in the Europa League.
