This campaign is the one for Mauricio Pochettino and his Hotspurs

All quiet in the western front here in White Hart Lane and its Hotspurs being so quiet in the transfers market. So far, Mauricio Pochettino and the Lilywhites have not made any headlines of a new comer to reinforce its ranks ahead of their 2018-19 championship.

Still I ask myself if Poche has lost his nose and eye for raw talent as he did in his day in Southampton, were he create a total attention for this London club to bring him aboard for his ability to convert young prospects into talented stars.

Despite rumors on keen interest in players of the likes of Crystal Palace Wilfred Zaha, Aston Villa Jack Grealish and Celta de Vigo striker Maxi Gomez, Fulham Ryan Sessegnon who likely be sold and Wilmer Barrios. So far, these lads are just rumors and dream players for the Andean as the club chair David Levy silence telling it all.

As the exodus of George Kevin N-Koudou, Fernando Llorente and possibly others along of missing early in the campaign the likes of Son Heung- Min to participate with the Korean national team in the Asian games.

With a few days left for the world’s top rated of leagues, what can Poche ask or need with the current squad the man has and so far has shown a total turnaround for the better in its US Tour with some notable performances.

However, with the likes of Toby Alderweild, Moussa Dembele and Danny Rose looking for new airs, as the Belgian defender still is in Jose Mourinho’s radar, likely we can see the international leave before the campaign starts to Old Trafford. On the other hand, maybe we can see a swap for Poche Manu target operate Anthony Martial coming to White Hart Lane.

For the rumors, many almost confirming of Tottenhams target man Jack Grealish of Championship side that his coming is becoming more and more solid and possibly the Spurs Boss have his desired man to give the depth he wants in this squad midfield. This confirms maybe the lone signing this London club has in the campaign to front another contested edition of Premiership.

The drought of shields will continue if Tottenhams’ selling Dembele and Rose goes through along with Alderweild this club for sure will see a deterrent in its game of campaigns past with the departure of these lads to other entities.

For Mauricio Pochettino lacking a support from his top directives in landing his desired players as well lacking a new wave of young players to emerge within the academy system of the Hotspurs, this campaign can turn a bit challenging for the man from Argentina.

By far this club for sure will be among the stellar clubs in the league and despite a fourth place finish versus their previous year as league runner ups behind Chelsea, this campaign can turn a bit sour if we see the exodus of several important players.

The question arises if Maurico Pochettino can work some magic and makes a magical run with his Hotspurs juggling EFL, FA and Champions League competitions in what seems to be one of the most enduring and hard leagues to compete.
