Last campaign this
group made all sorts of headlines and wrote history in the annals of the
English Premier League, after their one of a kind run of winning the league
title for their first time since their inception.

I must say that
everything is a first for the Foxes- after winning their first Barclays Shield
and now doing the same in one of the world’s most prestigious competitions, as
this Champions League, being their first.
Even for interim
Manager Craig Shakespeare, this was his first rodeo.
With an amazing run into
the final eight and the Europa League utmost champions Spanish giant Seville
FC, the City squad did the ultimate of feats and with a single goal
differential, Leicester City advances!
Still the long road
to Cardiff for City filled with plenty of obstacles and challenges.

Yes, with a 2-1 win
by the Seville bunch back at Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, the Blues were looking
forward to a positive result and with a clean sheet for their keeper; their
pass into the next phase it is a reality.
As Leicester City
with this all around feat, join the likes of Europe’s elite in Real Madrid,
Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund,
Atletico Madrid, Monaco and Juventus.

As UEFA staging the quarterfinal
draw on Nyon, Switzerland on Friday 17, the Foxes will know their faith as well
who will be their next rival to be.
A sea of blue and
white welcomed the players into the pitch in King Power Stadium and once again,
the City fans are back to their old selves after their squad revival in both
Premiership and now making history once again but in Champions League.

Very well kudos to Leicester
City keeper Kasper Schmeichel grand performance who kept at bay the attacks and
attempts towards his posts of the Spaniards as well becoming the other hero for
the Foxes after stopping a penal that could give this match a different ending.
Once again the magic
and enthusiasm of Wes Morgan and Marc Albrighton made a whole lot of difference
as the defending champions, are playing as a team and in total unity.
Not even for the
Andalusian 11 Boss Jorge Sampaoli 3-4-2-1 formations used in the first leg were
enough to start a press in the local’s backfield, which totally dominated by
the Foxes all evening long.
For Manager
Shakespeare using his 4-4-2 formation, that many of his players are comfortable
with, so far, this delivered as expected and his players consumed the feat and
the miracle at King Power Stadium.
At the end, what an
atmosphere and once again coming alive at King Power Stadium, showing off its chants
of celebrations heard all over colossus, shows off a new era and start these Boys
all around success and total accomplishment.
