Beating the Clarets was important for Swansea

With fifteen points in play, so far the Swans have netted nine of them and looking good in their main objective of staying put in the ranks of Premiership, by finishing in the middle of the overall table.

After the arrival of Paul Clement, Oh La La, the difference he has made into the Swans game, taking in it to a new level and a 360-degree turnaround for the best.

Still the league is not over yet and with the month of March entering into the spotlight, many are aware of how the levels of competition escalate among all the squads some to enter into the European spots or save itself from relegation.

Here we have a squad doomed for the Championship league, but things had a change for the best and two Managers later, voila we have a squad moving on up and well situated in sixteenth place and sporting a five point advantage.

Very well, if their positive streak continues, they may well be near the middle of the table and within one point of  Burnley and Watford, if these lose the prospects of the Swans moving toward the tops are possible.

As their next compromise at Vicarage Road, they maybe in the driver’s seat with a decimated and playing a hapless Hull City, but this match will be handful for the Swans as I always state, there is no such thing than an easy foe.

Playing away and this feat considered such as a sort of Achilles heel for the Swans in this campaign, maybe that away a win could uplift this squad spirits more and see their positive streak have a continuance for the best.

One thing for sure that their man at the helm Paul Clement for sure will implement a very wary approach and be cautious and respectful towards their next week foes and not become overconfident in their game.

By implementing a very aggressive and strong 4-3-3 formation and in the frontal attack Paul Clement has found the ideal formula in Fernando Llorente, Luciano Narsingh and Gylfy Sigurdsson, these leading the Swans attack.

These have become an inspiration to the rest of their eleven as well becoming a living nightmare for the opposing squad’s backfields.

Despite their latest feats, the weak side of the Swans evidently exposed and in need get some corrections, whenever they play the so-called league giants, as their losses against Man City and Chelsea dented their momentum but not their spirits.

A sound win over Burnley over the weekend and netting three points of gold, making some distance between them and relegation for now, despite the league with plenty of matches in its calendar pending.

The Swans need to capitalize in every opportunity possible to continue its ascent into the league top spots; maybe a certain carelessness of some of these teams can become a gain for the Swans and aspire for Europe.

However, this is asking too much for a squad that started its campaign a little sluggish, but with wins over Southampton, Leicester City and Burnley, these have shown a slight recovery and looking more ambitious in their desire to excel in the end.

If this squad is playing like this in this campaign, what can we expect of them in the next edition of Premiership, with a front office more positive to invest in players and push this squad towards the top of the league overall table as a total contender.

The only thing is that they need to reinforce many spots in need of attention and its bench with more talent as well if Manager Clement opening the doors to more academy prospects, this club future can be cover for many campaigns in the big circuit.

At the end how sweet it is to net, an important and valuable 3-2 win over a hardened Claret squad.
