A postseason Mayhem, Canadian style

It looks like that, after Montreal taking round one in this historic postseason series over their 401 foes, but there will be a catch for Le Gars as their win does not assure a pass into the promise land of the league grand finale.

With a three goal advantage and inspired by a raucous audience, Mauro Biello Boys played like there was no tomorrow and very efficiently in trying to make all around history for this north of the border club.

Despite the early advantage and certain dominance both offensively and defensively, all of a sudden we saw a meltdown by the locals defensive backfield, surrendering a couple of goals that at the end can be a bit worrisome.

As you may know that the away goals are worth gold and despite the loss for the Reds of the TFC, their Boss Greg Vanney is very optimistic that things can change in a snap of a finger at BMO Field in Toronto.

This time it is their turn to have a whole venue behind them and playing with a sort of a twelve men and these includes to their diehard followers so patiently waiting for such especial moment, something he would not like to disappoint them.

Still we have a very contested initial eleven in their cross the 401 foes the City of Mary Boys of the Montreal Impact that they won’t budge an inch in order to get to their objective of playing their first league final.

Very well, the Boys of the TFC, looking forward to seal the deal at home, take the momentum, and shut their cross the country foe momentum as well net to their favor the always celebrated bragging rights.

After all we are living a historic moment in Major League Soccer with its first ever Canadian final and seeing one of these disputing its first ever  league final, but the only inconvenience is that there is only one spot.

As we are aware, we still have to wait for a total of ninety minutes to wait and see who will be the one to advance into this final and coveted stage as the sole representative of the Eastern Conference.

One thing for sure both squad managers for sure will see their weak spots in their defensive backfield as the Montreal bunch after dominating in the first and a whole majority of the second half until their defensive meltdown.

The TO sudden reaction in the 68th and 73rd minutes thanks to Jozy Altidore and Michael Bradley scores, giving this series an interesting and disputed touch to be decided at Queen City.

Going back to the game, the Impact really came inspired and determined regardless of the long break they endured and with back to back early goals from Dominick Oduro in the 10th and in the 12th via a combination of Piatti and Oduro passing to Mateo Mancosu, Le Gars had the game in their pockets.

That was for a while as the second half started once again, the locals showing off their control of the game with  another goal in the 53rd via Ambroise Ayongo for what could been the final blow to their TO foes.

The game for sure got interesting with a late reaction that came short for the Hog City eleven and these taking advantage of the goals scored as a visitor that for sure will be a heavy burden for the Impact and will put them on edge of not allowing the Toronto lads any liberties.

At the end, I cannot wait for the second leg to be played on the 30th and before that these two squad will be in the knowledge of whomever of them wins, who they will have to face from the Western Conference winner in the all-around grand finale.

Nothing for nobody and no advantage although the Montreal squad won the first leg and leading by just one goal, the deciding match promises to be one  exciting and nerve racking event that its not remocndable for those with weak a weak condition.

As BMO Park in Toronto, will become pandemonium when these two squads meet once again to see who will reign supreme in the Eastern Conference!
