Another notable point that saves the day was the use of VAR when protlnd string goalkeeper Steve Clark almost made a booboo inside the area defending from a Colorado play that the ref call it a penal and later review it to be calling it off, for the joy of the locals.
In the end, Portland defensive game ruled and with Jeremy Ebobisse in the helm the Timbers offensive game, finally got the boost it needed by creating several opportunities and the result that in the end speaks for itself.
Today the Portland Timbers with an all-around unity and teamwork delivered as every foe is to play seriously despite their overall positon in the table; still this win was not an easy one.
