With an average squad in the Colorado Rapids squad posting two back-to-back losses and on town to play, the Portland squads were the Rose City Boys are somehow hard to beat and with the possibilities of a win by the local Timbers were within their reach.

The T2 lad after being in the Timbers eighteen lately finally delivered with his first goal of the campaign and second as a Portland Timber, after today not only looking for a scoring opportunity but in the field the man was very active.
Despite Jeremy being the hero of the match, still I praise the whole Portland initial eleven with Sebastian Blanco assisting in both goals and creating another opportunity, his performance was very serene and accurate in both halves.

With a solid defensive game with Liam Ridgewell and Jorge Villafaña setting the tone accompanied by Larry’s Mabiala and a valuable and opportune Zarek Valentin, the Portland side did toy all evening long with the Colorado 11.

In the end, Portland defensive game ruled and with Jeremy Ebobisse in the helm the Timbers offensive game, finally got the boost it needed by creating several opportunities and the result that in the end speaks for itself.
Today the Portland Timbers with an all-around unity and teamwork delivered as every foe is to play seriously despite their overall positon in the table; still this win was not an easy one.
