In this match, the Harps were in need of a win in order to achieve their long sought goal of promotion; however, a point in the end was to enough for the College Boys to achieve their return to the big circuit of Premiership.
So far in this past campaign in the Republic of Ireland first division the Students had a paramount campaign that allow them to net such promotion and shield that automatically gives them their desired pass.

As manager O’ Neill’s attitude and environment around his chaps was, totally, family oriented and why not, now the aim is to see if this can see a repeat in next campaign when they play the big guns of Airtricity.

For next campaign they would end up playing against the likes of Dundalk, Cork City or Shamrock Rovers to mention a few as well the competition here is for real and very contested that every match and point on the line counts heavily.
Still this is not over for the UCD side that they are on the tough task of going to Oriel Park and play one tough foe in Dundalk in the semifinals of the FAI Cup, which promises to be a one amazing dispute to net a pass to the finals of this prestigious trophy.

However, for now the celebration in UCD will not stop after seeing their College Boys deliver and win the first division and promotion to the top flight of the Republic of Ireland Premier League in 2019, congratulations UCD!
Hail to the Boys of the Cumann Peile Choláiste na hOllscoile, Baile Átha Cliath.
