The Wolves draw in the Theater of Dreams seen as a total upset

Manchester United 1, Wolverhampton 1

Old Trafford, Manchester

For Nuño Espiritu Santo and his Wanderers the campaign keeps turning for the better, last week win and today a draw on the road and in the Theater of Dreams regarded like an all-around upset in the eyes and minds of both managers. 

Still for the visiting Wolves, getting a point in what could become in this campaign their house of horrors but in the end this became a fulfilling one in the end with this tie that could been turn in favor of the heavily favorite locals. 

With an early lead taken by the Manu squad with a Paul Pogba and Fred combination in the 18’ minute to get Jose Mourinho’s lead early in the game and cruising in what could been an easy win but such adage is not existent. 

 

However, for the Red Devils goalkeeper David De Gea making spectacular and game saving stops over the visitor’s top strikers in Raul Jimenez, Willy Boyle and Ryan Bennett to deny the push and pressure the visitors started early in the game. 

With Sir Alex Ferguson in attendance after his surgery, the man presence should been an all-around inspiration for his Red Devils in the field and labeled as the favorites but in the end these had their struggles of their own and no desires of winning. 

I mean going into halftime with the lead and the promise of rallying against a squad that despite its good football in display considered a minnow but not tonight as Joao Mouthino became the spoiler in the end scoring the game equalizer. 

As a combination of Raul Jimenez to a wide, open Joao Mouthino to score the goal in the 53’   became the icing on the cake for the Wolves that held on to persevere for the draw in spite of creating one or two opportunities but coming short. 

As Mou sent his usual 4-3-3 attacking formation with Fellaini, Sanchez and Lukaku, in the end these two did display a modest if not convincing game that these two did not aided for the locals cause and that is becoming annoying. 

I mean with the armada United comes to every match and not display a decent game but in the end, a sorry one with that firepower these carry to every match and in the end Manu Mourinho’s court to try to implement a dynamic style of football.

These Wolves came ready to play and United in on a holiday, I do not doubt it as the way this campaign is going I seriously doubt Manchester United can bring home a trophy or two, especially the league I have my doubts. 

I mean consistency is not there, seriousness not shown, poise or determination for the better missing in action, so Jose Mourinho better get a rabbit out of his hat and try to elvel this campaign in the Theater of Dreams. 

In the end hail to those newcomer WolverHampton squad that was not intimidated or belittled by the local playing Manchester United squad lacking pride in its game and carelessness that in the end these surrendering the equalizer and stop cold by the visitors defense.
