In 2019 can be the Red Bulls year

Chris Armas is in need of delivering that long awaited titles his Reds Bulls have come short every campaign. As second best or a consolation in the Supporter’s Shield, this 2019 can be a different story for the original league pioneers.

As the original Metrostars and later converted to Red Bulls, ever since their inception to league play as one of the original squads, they have managed one mingy league final in 2008 and losing to Columbus Crew 3-1.

That was then but the way the Metros have been denied of the grand finale and console with the Supporters Shields winning it in 2013, 2015 and 2018, is not enough to satisfy a loyal legion of followers of this club as well tis directives.

As the transfers market this club was not to spectacular but assuring a number of important players to uplift this squad attack as well reinforce its midfield to offer a supporting role to its current defensive unit and game as well.

As many in these parts of New Jersey are counting for a run not only for the postseason but also to make a run to the finals and finally get their desires of playing for the league title something that has been denied to them in the past.

So far, the squad hard at work and getting the ideal players to help this club get the ideal push in the regular campaign and later in the playoffs where it counts the most, the area this club focused was its midfield.

With three midfielders one pick in the waivers draft in Marcus Epps and signing a couple of Home Grown players in Omir Fernandez and Jean- Christophe Koffi, the Red Bulls can rest assure that these latter ones can make the jump to primetime soon enough.

Still the Harrison side got a hold of two defenders in Amro Tarek via trade from Orlando and on the SuperDraft Sean Nealis, adding to the core of newcomers the likes of forward Mathias Jorgensen from European side Odense BoldKlub.

In addition, of re-singing the likes of defenders Tim Parker and Aaron Long, the Red Bulls have close their defensive circle for good and now look forward to many memorable afternoons for their longtime goalkeeper Luis Robles.

However, the ideal finish for the Red Bulls will be among the top five in the conference, still the goal for manager Chris Armas is not to console with the Supporters Shield but with a run to the conference finals and advance to the grand finale.

As the Red Bulls are currently in the CCL competition, these are delivering notable results and with a win over Atletico Pantoja of the Dominican Republic on the road which manager Armas prasise his side mentality.

This campaign the skies are the limit as well the hunt for trophies for sure will become an top objective for this club hungry for the MLS shield to adorn its halls in Red Bulls Arena in Harrison, New Jersey.
